The beds were very snug and everything is super clean. Nice kitchen area and fireplace for after you've been out on the hills. Very friendly staff.

It is a lovely cosy hostel with great facilities plenty of seating and cooking facilities. We had a lovely Mountain View for our window

Perfect location to get straight out onto trails. The staff were really friendly and accommodating.

The location and lodge like feel of the hostel are amazing. Kitchen was great too. Beds comfortable.
Think it is very overpriced considering you have to remove bed sheets,cost of towels are additional too and you share bathrooms and the basic onsite shop was always closed when we were there,no real bar to get drinks. No staff stay on site in evening,we asked for information about buses to Snowdon and staff didn’t have much clue. Check in isn’t permitted until 5pm which is ridiculously late.Felt like actual owners were off site when we were there or as if under new ownership… sadly the service didn’t live up to the online reviews I had read that praise the place. I agree with other guest the lighting is too dim in some of the communal areas.
