Plas Glynllifon Mansion

If you’ve ever dreamed of having a large country pile largely to yourself for a night or two then you must visit Glynllifon Mansion while you have the chance! Walking through the porch into the cavernous hallway with its marble columns and Downton-esque double staircase will take your breath away. High ceilings, chandeliers, wood-panelled walls and paintings galore will be the theme of your stay. Leave the digital trappings of modern life behind you as you stroll along the tree lined walkway, marvelling at fountains, follies and grottoes. Admire the impressive pipe organ towering over you as you tuck into a hearty cooked breakfast served by your friendly and hospitable host. Wir haben zunächst ernsthaft gezweifelt, ob die Buchung ggf. ein Fake war. Aber Glynllifon Mansion bietet tatsächlich Übernachtungen an. Das Hotel befindet sich noch im Bau, wenn wir es richtig verstanden haben, sind erst zwei Zimmer im Angebot. Aber diese sind riesig, sehr großes Bad, noch nicht fertig, aber alles da, was man braucht. Der „Hausherr“ ist sehr freundlich und bereitet sogar englisches Frühstück zu.
