Love this hotel and staff.

Loved the location and my room! So easy to enjoy staying here. Staff helpful and friendly.

I am not a fan of the bed scarf and extra cushions in any room but understand they are essential for room dressing. Oven out of use for room service so couldn't order a post gig toasted sandwich!!

Its well worth a visit.

The room was superb, with classy decor. It was clean and the bed was comfy. Facilities were all I could ask for, it even had robes and slippers. The toiletries provided smelt divine. Our room was missing a tv remote but that was not an issue, I notified staff and within 5 minutes it was all sorted. Breakfast was delicious and catered for my coeliac. The staff were welcoming and warming. We would stay again. It was luxury for us and it was such good value for money. Thank you, you made my birthday special.

Definitely not a 4 star

Location

We upgraded to luxury double room not worth the money two single beds together not king was comfortable though, really dusty makeup and toothpaste all over the bathroom door, room was quite tired look really noisy the pipes or heater sounded like water gushing all night definitely not worth the money and definitely not worth the upgrade this is not a luxury room would hate to see a standard room.

A Welcoming Stay At Grey Street - Top Notch Breakfast & Excellent Location

It was a junior suite rather than a room, the size was decent - not exceptional but happy with it, only aspect of it I didn't like was that it had stairs from the upper floor and entrance/exit and bathroom to the suite below. My wife has some issues with her feet/legs so this was a bit of a trial for her but we managed OK. Breakfast was top notch, good range of cooked breakfast choices with excellent ingredients and well cooked. Alternatively continental with fresh fruit etc was available. Location was very good, a short walk from the hotel to train station, quayside and the shopping in the city centre, and a range of bustling bars, restaurants and cafe's - not far from St James Park for the football fans too!

One of the bedside bulbs was out, one bulb popped in the table lamp when turned on...not big issues and we only really found out the night before returning home so mentioned it at the desk on leaving.

The reception team did their best to find us another room but the first room shoukd have been checked first.

The first room we were allocated was cold with a leaky towel rail which didn’t work and room heating which didn’t kick in within 30 mins.

The location was great, the breakfast delicious and the staff really friendly.

The room was OK - but there was no loo brush and whilst it was supplied when we asked for it, it was very odd that it was not in the room as standard. There were also no shelves in the bathroom, meaning we had to put things on the floor and on the top of the WC - far from ideal.

Nice hotel great location

All staff were lovely, especially the two ladies who served breakfast in the morning and the breakfast itself was great to.

The only negative was when we initially walked into our room, it had a not so nice smell of the drains. The smell seemed to subside, but it wasn't pleasant.

Loved the location, beautiful architecture and general feel of the hotel. Had a junior suite. A proper treat. Will be back in the Spring.

The beautiful bar wasn't in use - but I didn't ask why - hopefully being refurbished. I was unwell on my last evening - no one's fault but spoiled my enjoyment of the weekend. Luckily the bed was really comfortable!
