An enjoyable stay vand would stay in the hotel again despite one or two mi nor issues

Whilst the room was fine and the shower was a good size with an excellent shower head that was fully adjustable. An excellent location in the city centre, walking distance from main shopping area, cathederal and city centre attractions and from st James Park. For a room situated in the heart of the city centre it was very quiet.

Whilst the room was fine it was smaller than the previous room we have had at this hotel. The room lacked space to store clothes and the desssing table space was both cramped and dark. Chair in room mot that comfortable and small piece of cleaning cloth on bed. The water supply was hot but could have been a little hotter.

Great value City Centre hotel

Lovely hotel in a great location. Nice room although it was on the small side. Very good communal areas in the hotel. Good VFM

Some minor issues: the kettle was in a fairly inaccessible position in the room. There were only two paper cups (nothing in the bathroom). There was no litter bin in the bedroom. The pillows were not very comfortable

I have started before without a review It’s classy right in the centre of ‘Toon’ it’s not a lads party place. Great business hotel Fab staff The ONLY hotel that has EVER told me I had left something , in the case a cap, in my room They e mailed me giving links to couriers that could pick up and deliver and offered to pack it for me Luckily family live locally Thanks to the WHOLE team

We have used Motel One in Newcastle many times before, primarily for the location, which continues to be its main benefit

It was really apparent on this visit that the rooms are getting very tired. The carpets seem ok, there are stains on surfaces, and the room hadn't been cleaned properly as we found a black bow tie under the table.

Amazing quiet central location for a great stay in Newcastle.

Room great for cost. Location is 10 out of 10. Reception and ground floor are very stylish, warm and inviting. Best coffee latte in Newcastle .We stay here a lot and it is very quiet where it is.

The shower in our room (220) had no hot water. This was problematical as we always shower before we travel home. As we were only here for one night, I reported it on checkout. There was also quite a bit of noise in the corridors during the night (01:45)

Decor and building were fabulous, staff friendly and location excellent right in the city centre

The room was uncomfortably hot, to the point where you could sleep at all, air con on all night but didn’t cool the room down. Rooms also tiny.

Overnight stay for a music gig

Being able to store luggage before and after our stay, for free, made exploring the city much easier and enjoyable.

Staff came to clean our room before checkout time, but we hadn't put the Do Not Disturb sign out. The king size bed was two normal beds pushed together with an obvious join as the mattresses were different heights.
