Extremely pleasant stay in an ideal location and welcomed by lovely staff.

the breakfast was exceptional and the rooms were lovely very roomy and the location was perfect, the parking was very handy too, we even joined the membership so we will continue to stay in these hotels, as you get to redeem points and have already booked Yas Island in Abu Dhabi for 10 night and can't wait.

There was nothing really that we didn't like, we were really pleased with our stay. I would have liked to stay another night as I never got to see the Pool or the gym.

Room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great, a very good selection! Location was good just outside the main city area but close enough to walk to the river.

There was some initial confusion regarding parking as the recommended car park was displaying a "full" sign but it seemed they were having some technical issues.

Brilliant, friendly immaculate hotel!

Immaculate hotel, staff friendly and welcoming nothing a problem, rooms cleaned to an impeccable standard!

Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the upgraded room free of charge on arrival as it hadn’t been cleaned when we went to the room. We did get two complimentary drinks and the room we had paid for was immaculately clean

The hotel is very nice, from the reception to the bar, restaurant and bedrooms. Everywhere is very clean and the staff are friendly.

The only thing I didn't like was the pillows. I personally found them uncomfortable, but everyone is different, so don't let this put you off going. This was my only problem with the hotel. We will definitely stay there again

Cleanliness plus

Crown Plaza is a constant Extremely clean no shabby furnishings, quality white towels, not a trace of mould in the bathroom and I was absolutely delighted to see the young lady at breakfast professionally cleaning tables with a fresh ‘Bluey’ rather than swiping around a germ infested dirty cloth from the kitchen 10/10 thank you

We like is a separate sheet rather than just a quilt inside a sheet. Although very comfy it’s often too hot hot sleeping with a quilt

Excellent stay

Good location behind Central Station. I was in a room with lounge access. The lounge is very well set out with access to soft drinks and snacks. Between 1730 and 1930 alcoholic drinks and canapes are served. Sally who works in the lounge is excellent - remembers your name and drink of choice. The room (Queen) was very clean with free soft drinks and snacks in the minibar. There was a good sized TV. Good range of food at breakfast which was of good quality. Gym is a good size for a hotel with a small pool.

Solo trip...

The location was fantastic. I felt safe in the area. The decor was modern and attractive. Some of the staff were really friendly and attentive.It was great to have a room where I coukd control the temperatureto my liking. The blackout curtains were very effective. The housekeeping was great. Fab white towels and good quality toiletries in the bathroom.

The room I booked was meant to be soundproofed but I heard the tv frim an adjoinung room and was kept awake until midnight with banging and thudding the foliowing night. I was offered another room but it had an adjoining door which , as a solo traveller , didn't feel comfortable with or feel it would have solved the issue. The grout between the lower tiles in the shower were mouldy and after reporting this, the shower was promptly cleaned , but only the shower itself, not the tiles.

I have stayed here before as it’s a lovely hotel really good location and staff are helpful and kind

I paid for a king room the bed was literally 2 beds pushed together was not comfortable at all it was not very clean at all either there were stains on the cushions and the tables didn’t look like they had been wiped as a cleaner on the side of my main job I could never left a room like that!
