Location perfect for train station and city centre . Top quality hotel . Traditional unique hotel . A refreshing change from the usual chains . As can tell by rooms as soon as go in .

Small things let it down . They down right tight with tea bags coffee shampoo . So it means got to ring up for more when inevitably run out . Sunday dinner - best I have had in a long time . Recommended .

Fantastic location , The hotel looks lovely inside the restaurant was spacious and grand. The room was good with a large en suite all was clean , staff was polite and helpful.

Continental breakfast it was not as advertised its basically a full English with box cereal options, yoghurt , fruit @ drinks. It was ok but for £33 for 2 people I expect better more options. Window did not open , bath plug was faulty so the water was draining constantly so kept having to refill. The rooms have thin walls, the noise from other occupants on the same floor was loud and annoying as they all came back in the early hours.

Excellent location, spacious room.

Room very hot at night. No aircon or fan in room. I called in advance to ask about parking and was advised there is a carpark. Upon arrival I learned this is privately owned and costs £20 per day. Additionally, there's a £50 deposit on check-in which still hasn't been returned to me almost week later. Considering the cost, I think there are better value hotels in the immediate vicinity.
