Everything but one major fault with the sauna and steam facilities we came for we couldn't use as had been out of order. waiting on a part delivered
We asked to stay a hour late before checking out to facilitate us in the morning and wanted to charge 20 extra for one our and I asked of it could be wavered as we wernt told the facilitate were out of service and website didnt state 😑

Fab location! Staff were friendly. Room was tidy and clean. Good price for one night! View was lovely out of our room.
The shower and bath were so old fashioned and terrible to use, the water was scolding out of the taps. The room we were in was right next to the train line and was very noisy! Radiator was boiling hot even when heating was turned off, very old fashioned and meant we didn’t sleep very well!

Great location. Accommodating and welcoming staff making the husband’s birthday weekend with cake/card in room.
The hotel is great, just minor Challenge of a lift being out of action whilst works undertaken on 2nd lift and waiting for lift, once completed this will not impact guests.

It was a good location.
We waited 40 mins to check-in. The lift wasn’t working. The room was dated - windows filthy, curtains hanging off, toilet seat broken. Rooftop bar only available for bookings - no walk-ins.

The rooms were very good - good size, clean and comfortable, the beds were very comfortable. The decor and general environment was to a high standard. We really enjoyed the breakfast, lovely food and lots of choice.
It was very noisy and we were anxious when there were earplugs left in the room for us - we're not sure where the noise was coming from but there was loud bass music which started at around 7pm and continued until after midnight which slightly ruined our plan to stay in and enjoy the room and the view with some takeaway food and made it difficult to get to sleep.

Stylish surroundings
Fantastic location
Expensive for what you get. Very expensive mini bar... 2.75 for water 🥲
The toilet broke after second use, the button got stuck so was continually flushing all night

Bath was good plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom clean and tidy.
No food at 6pm on a Wednesday night, had to leave the hotel to get dinner after long journey into wet night. And the bar unattended for most of the time I stayed 17 people waiting to be served when i called in. Staff said bar person has "lots of other jobs to do". Seriously understaffed. Breakfast very poor, HARD scrambled and hard fried eggs, poor quality bacon. Radiator in room was poor and probably as old as me.

Great location but our room was very near railway line. Not a problem in winter when windows closed.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful
Would be noisy with bedroom window open but they do supply earplugs!

Reception staff were lovely and we were allocated a room on the 9th floor. The room was very clean with a great view.
The room could have been a little warmer.

Location is good and hotel is generally nice.
Rooms are very dated. Generally a little run down and not in line with the rest of the hotel. I did only have a standard room so may be a one-off poor room that I got.

Location is spot on , right under the Tyne bridge on the quayside . The 1 bedroom apartment is a fantastic size & has everything you could possibly want for a short or long stay . From a huge comfy bed , to a fully working kitchen which includes dish washer , fridge , freezer etc . The heating in the room actually works as well ( unlike a lot of hotels & apartments ). Our 2nd time staying here for the new year & it wont be our last .
The weather was freezing , but that had nothing to do with the Vermont apartments .

Nice ambience and decor
Rooms were tired and the rooftop bar where wedding reception was held was ridiculously expensive ..£30.50 for two single G&Ts is a disgrace

Breakfast was nice
front of house staff rude and hotel manager is disgraceful when it comes to customer service! This hotel stole money from my card upon check in. This was for a holding fee and once checked out they took approx £300 from my personal bank account

Location, parking, breakfast, decor.
Amazing hotel, usually I book this hotel for work related functions but on this occasion I needed to bring my wife and 2 children. The 2 double beds were comfortable, the room had enough space for 1 night. All the staff, from front of house to cleaners are all professional.
Room service took 1.5hrs and 2 extra phone calls to arrive, I understand that it is a busy time of year and could take a little longer than normal.

The Vermont is a beautiful hotel. We were there for a concert at the Utility arena. Short walk to the train station and venue. Had dinner in the restaurant, it was delicious. All staff from reception to restaurant were so friendly and helpful. The room was large with a wonderful view of the Quayside
We stayed on the 11th floor which is right below the sky bar, which was noisy but didn't effect us as we were out until after it closed at midnight. Just something to be aware of

It was a beautifully kept, elegant property. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed.
There’s nothing I didn’t enjoy about the property.

The location was excellent. Right by the castle in the middle of town, near everything. The bar staff were very friendly and great to talk to. Parking wasnt a problem, but it is limited so get there early as you can. I got there around 3 pm and there were only a few spaces left.

Loved everything about this grand hotel. The staff were brilliant, polite, cheerful and could not help enough. Food was excellent.
Great location in between the quayside and the city, but it’s a fair uphill walk to the city, for those less mobile.
The room, whilst fine, backed onto the central air conditioning units, so there was a mild humming noice, nothing really bad.
Parking was limited but I managed the get a spot right outside the hotel door. However, I left my car there for a couple of extra hours after check out and came back to a parking ticket. I hadn’t been warned about this, so be warned!

Everything was very clean
Staff were rude and gave inaccurate information. The bathroom and decor generally were tired and room 322 was very loud with machinery (possibly extractor fans) running throughout the night.

All the staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly. The young morrocan guy on reception was exceptional.
Breakfast was excellent
The bedroom at times was slightly cold as it's on a timer and unable to adjust.
Shower over bath a little needs renovating

room was very cosy, comfortable bed, extremely clean with a great view ofd the city from the window. The bar was 10/10. Hotel staff were amazing. The location is the best in Newcastle, with 2 of the best bars in the city on the rooftop of the hotel and on the ground floor, all accessible from the hotel lift.
The only thing the hotel lacks is air conditioning, so the room did get very hot in the summer

Lovely hotel and staff are very helpful and courteous ,we had a problem with our tv and it was sorted right away and nothing was too much trouble ,this is our second time at this hotel and both time have been top notch.
There is nothing I can pick out to be far only the fact that you cannot get to the roof top bar unless you book a seat but from what folk were saying that is going to change but check before you go if you want to go to the roof top bar
