Good location clean room
Food on room service needs to be covered when being brought to room and I called the hotel to book a surprise afternoon tea for our anniversary for my husband and the next day the hotel sent him an email confirming this booking!!why???? Completely spoilt his surprise

Its location and the elegance of the Deco era. The service was outstanding from the time of arrival in the car park and Paul, the Concierge, and Holly on Reception both went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. We must also mention Louis in the bar and Jess at breakfast who were friendly and helpful. We have used the hotel before and it always delivers what we want.
Having to pay for parking (this had been instigated since making the booking) as this would have influenced our choice of hotel. A lot of older people are not familiar with using Parking Apps and some don’t use mobile banking. Had it been raining, and had Paul not been there to help, this would have been a stressful start to our stay. I can understand charging a parking fee as an inner city hotel but it needs to be made available via Reception.

The staff were expceptional especially in the breakfast room and the concierge they were extremely helpful and lovely to my little girl.
The rooms were dated, beds very uncomfortable, noisey room nightclub was below us woke up at 3am with people fighting. Bathrooms very basic and outdated for the price and star of the hotel. When we got home my husband who’s card was attached from the booking got a bill from hotel and when we phoned to enquire we were told “mini fridge” items it said we had taken 2 cans of juice and a bottle of water which we did not. We phoned and email to enquire about this and we never got a response and this really annoyed my husband and for this we would not return as you never would they would accuse you of taking. With a family with a young child we brought everything that was needed and felt annoyed of being charged because if we hadn’t notice that coming off our bank then we would of never known. Check you bank after your stay incase this happens to you.
