Fantastic staff but average facilities

The staff make this place. Everyone was absolutely fabulous. Super friendly, genuine and helpful.

Poor shower pressure, single beds slide away from wall when you sit up, towels had holes in and no shower gel topped up.

You get what you pay for, it was very cheap and there were issues

I liked the value for money and the size of the room. The mattress was okay. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.

The poorly designed bathroom (floods when you have a shower). The poorly designed ventilation (the person on the floor below was smoking in their room and I had to move rooms because the smell was so bad). The lack of fresh air in the room, if you dont open the window there is no fresh air entering the room and the bathroom mirror glass stays foggy. The pillows were very uncomfortable.

Convenient to where I was working. I felt safe as a single woman. Food was of a good quality and staff very approachable and helpful.

The room decor was a little dated and the tv looked like someone had dropped it so the picture quality was poor.

Spacious bedroom room with settee. Very convenient for visits to the Glass House and the Baltic art centre

Location, Breakfast and eggs.

Bed is small, sofa bed is uncomfortable. Someone visited this room in early 2000s and renovated up to date, and that person vanished after that. All old techs and cheap toilet paper.

Absolutely Gem

I must admit , I was really positively surprised. The hotel was quite cheap so I wasn't expecting a lot. We only needed place to sleep so we choose the cheapest we could find. Stuff was super friendly, specially ladies by the breakfast buffet absolutely lovely. Room was specious and had everything we need , little sofa ,kettle even iron and ironing board. The plus was no carpets we were travelling with pet so these was really handy. Discounted prices if you pre book breakfast or dinner in advance. Vending machines available at the reception. Even possible to order pizze 24/7 in case you hungry any time of the night. Quick check in with the link, possible to get in touch with reception anytime by WhatsApp. Great location, 5 minutes walk from town famous bridges and just 10 minutes walk from castle abd cathedral.

Had late checkout booked to leave at 12pm however housekeeping found it acceptable to frantically hard knock on door at 10.14am to ask what time we we were checking out and left towels and bedding at door. Clearly they left stuff there to come back to room to clean when we left as there was no cart on level 6 but could quite easily tell this was theyre way of trying to rush us. Frankly its unacceptable and none of there business to knock on door before actual checkout at 11 it wouldnt bother me if this had happened at 11 and it was overlooked that late checkout time was arranged but at 10.14 and how hard and loud they knocked was unacceptable

Very handy for the Sage. Secure parking.

Did not find out about cost of parking and dogs until well after the booking. Should be more transparent. All in all though, we were pleased with the hotel and would book again.

Long weekend away to visit our daughter at your university.

Breakfast and dining room staff were amazing on both our mornings with you,couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. Car park on site was an added bonus,even though there was a charge

Room could have done with a bit of colour,throws/couple of cushions on the sofa,just to jazz it up a little,know we couldn't have a rug or carpets because we had a dog with us. Also,if you are going to put robes/slippers in room,you needed to put 2 in,for the two adult guests,as after reading your booklet we were panicking that housekeeping might have thought we had stolen one,as you only put out one.Plenty of towels though.Could have been slightly more generous with condiments,milk,sugar etc for the first night,as there were only 3 little sachets of milk(I run a holiday fishing lodge,and I put between 8-12 in mine,and we are only a little company)...also only 1 biscuit,1 hot chocolate, I had paid for a better/premium room,not budget, just thought overall little bits could have been better,But our view of the multi story car park opposite was the biggest disappointment of our stay,perhaps your top room could face the other way,towards the town/river,anything other than a car park..But overall a clean,pleasant stay with plenty of choice for breakfast, thankyou.

Friendly staff

I stayed at Ramada Hotel for a few times now. Good location and friendly staff, also clean rooms.

My bed wasn’t as comfortable as I expected. The mattress needs replacing, as I literally sank into it, and when I tried to sit up to watch TV, the bed wasn’t fixed and kept moving away from the wall. Up until now, I’ve found the rooms to be good value for money, but unfortunately, standards seem to be going down while prices are going up. I’m not sure if I’ll choose to stay here again.

It was ideal to get into Newcastle center easy access from the south to find and had parking. Breakfast was brilliant and staff really good.

Parking was ok for £10 a night but for the cost of the hotel a £5 charge would have been nicer But take the cost of breakfast not too bad 🙂

An amazing hotel in a beautiful location in the outskirts of the city centre.

The staff were lovely, the bar and food area was huge, with great TVs to watch football waiting for my taxi. The room was even bigger than expected, the shower was incredible.

The only issue I had was the vending machines being cash only, and one was out of order, as well as one of the lifts - however I was lucky there were no queues or groups waiting so wasn't a major issue, and not a fault of the staff at all.
