Still waiting for my deposit back. At the payment it is requested that you pay a 400 Euro deposit that should be returned within 7 days after check out. 3 weeks later I am still chasing to have this returned. They say that they have a lot to do and doing there best to return my money, but I see that a lot of people on internet complains about the same, some of them never got there money back The apartment is great, in a great location, however the customer service and communication regarding the deposit is not great. I complied with the guidance and cleaned the apartment before checking out taking out all the rubbish as stated on the rules. As it has now been almost a month and I am still waiting for the deposit to be returned, I have submitted an official complaint to booking.com.

Location was great and walkable everywhere. Other than that it was functional and clean.

There was only air-conditioning in 1 of the 3 bedrooms and the lounge so it was too hot for sleeping in August. The middle bedroom had a pull-out bed which blocked the door so you could not close the bedroom door if you had 2 people in there. It did not matter to us as we put the children in there.

The apartment has several positive aspects, which is why I cannot give it just one star. The location is excellent. It is situated in the beautiful Ruzafa neighborhood, within walking distance of Turia Park and the fantastic Gulliver Park for children. There are many lovely cafés, brunch spots, and tapas restaurants within a 10-minute walk, while the historic city centre is around 20 minutes away on foot. There are also several supermarkets nearby, including Consum and Lidl, as well as local fruit and vegetable shops, bakeries, and great specialty coffee places. Public transport connections to the beach are very convenient, and we rented bicycles, which made it possible to reach the beach in about 18 minutes. I would highly recommend this location. The apartment itself is spacious, with large bedrooms and very comfortable beds. There was plenty of clean bed linen and enough towels for our entire stay.

However, there are also several areas that could be improved. The kitchen is only basically equipped. While it has pots, glasses, and cutlery, most of the equipment is old and worn out. We were provided with liquid laundry detergent, a small bottle of fabric softener, and two dishwasher tablets, which was appreciated. The cleanliness could also be better. The bathrooms and floors were clean, but there was dust throughout the apartment, and the sofa was visibly stained and clearly had not been professionally cleaned for quite some time. Unfortunately, the main reason for this low rating is the air conditioning issue and, above all, the way it was handled by the managing agency, Singular Stays. During our stay, both air conditioning units stopped cooling properly. One unit eventually required replacement, while the second unit in the bedroom appeared to require only a simple repair, yet it remained unrepaired throughout our stay despite being reported immediately. What disappointed us most was not only the technical issue itself, but the agency’s handling of the situation. Communication was extremely poor. Messages were often left unanswered for long periods, different staff members gave inconsistent information, and every step of the process was unnecessarily delayed. Instead of looking for practical solutions, we constantly had to chase updates ourselves and repeatedly ask for responses. We proposed several reasonable solutions, including portable air conditioning units or alternative accommodation, but both proposals were refused. Instead, the agency offered us fans and a small discount. By that point, however, we had already spent three days using fans that we had purchased ourselves at our own expense simply to make the apartment bearable. This was despite staying in Valencia during extremely high summer temperatures and travelling with three children, including a one-year-old baby.
