The location was nice with a very nice view, price is good.
There’s no nice way to say this but this is a bunch of false advertisement, beds felt damp, bugs and dead bugs EVERYWHERE, mold surrounding us as we slept, and it looks like they don’t wash the bed sheets after use🙁 children were highly excited to swim but turned in disappointment after seeing that it was not in fact a private pool as they said, but public, which isn’t so bad but the pool was very dirty. many bugs and dead insects floating on top of the pool made it impossible to swim. Ac was also broken in one of our rooms. The pictures of how the villa looks like has had to be from when they JUST made it, now it doesn’t look that similar. When I woke up from my sleep, I felt so dirty, from the damp bed🤢 and the mold in the mosquito net. I would say it’s fine for a night even though my family was upset, but if we’re talking a long time in the villa, I highly recommend against it. Another note, there were also bed bugs, please wash your sheets, and replace them, not just make the bed straight after. Sorry about this rant, it had to be said.

Gorgeous view and adjacent to spectacular vegetarian Elephant Cafe.
Drinking water must be purchased off-site; closest is convenience store a few blocks away and across the street. Open transomes in room, so very humid in room despite AC.
Lighting in room very dim, no desk. Bathroom a bit strange: 9 foot deep open window-well is the open wall on the toilet side. No hot water in shower. Smelled insecticide, & next morning, room & bathroom full of dead and dying honeybees. 🥺 Quaint. Traditional. But too many negatives for a 3 day stay.

We loved the stay at Taman Indrakila. It’s very rustic and so good for families. Expect authentic Balinese. The villas were so unique and the scenery exceptional. We loved the gardens and pool. The view was amazing but what topped our experience is the local tortoise who lives at the property!
We would have loved some cups for our coffee and tea, wifi was a bit of an issue but we used our own data.

the view is nice, the staff is very friendly and helpful
there is the mold on the wall, mold in the bathroom, the door/gate was very hard to open , noisy to open, stuck many times. and there was no hot water at all i couldn't take a hot shower on both of the rainy days i stayed there. no place /bin to put my rubbish to... (also on the second night there was balinese wedding in the neighbourhood, very loud music until midnight i was not able to sleep - i'm sensitive to noise/music)

The location is nice and tucked away from the busy traffic. You are surrounded by nature and it's really peaceful. The rooms are clean and quiet too.

Not maintained well, no housekeeping, no one at reception, secluded area with insects and broken doors and windows. No security even the staff leaves at night . Has to carry the suitcase myself up the stairs even after calling and telling the reception to send staff because the stairs were very dangerous but no one came . Horrible experience. The washrooms are unhygienic with broken shower and toilet seat. 3 days and no one came to clean the room. No intercom have to climb stairs to reach reception and tell them if you want anything just the find out no one is there.

The location is excellent, the garden and the grounds are beautiful
The room is as was given the first night didn’t have hot water and I woke up with it ha sore throat the best day (it was a rainy week in Ubud in June and pretty cold at nights). Also, the WIFI wasn’t working in my room at all - only outside of my room. The staff couldn’t do anything about it and suggested I use WIFI outside of my room or in a nearby restaurant which was inconvenient. The staff were nice and trying to help but honestly majority of the time it was challenging to find someone - there is rarely anyone at the reception. Also, I couldn’t pay with my Apple Pay (which I use pretty much everywhere in Bali having spent here over 7 months) which was inconvenient because I had to go get cash specifically so I can pay to the property (although I booked through Booking.com). I think they’re now trying to get a new machine that will support the Apple Pay.

Spacious room, 2 queen beds for family of 3/4. Serene and peaceful.
Electric water heater was very slow. Hot water was not available, geyser had some issues all three days. Expensive for kind of very basic facilities offered. It is quite a walk inside. Restaurant is very expensive. No phone to communicate, need to find the housekeeping, which is quite a distance.

The people at Taman Indrakila are beautiful souls. They took such good care of everyone there and were always pleasant and helpful. When I go back to Bali, I will go to Ubud and I will stay at Taman Indrakila!

Very pretty garden with an amazing view on Agung Volcano, lovely staff, very quiet place even with one noisy road not so far, the coffee is served before 7 a.m on the balcony, swinging pool large enough to swim
Our appartement had some issues with hot water, but the staff fixed it quite fast. As it was said in previous comments, the bathroom could by more clean and bed sheets are a bit old

All the staff were so welcoming and friendly, especially Lupus who collected us from the airport!
Every morning the staff left tea and coffee on our balcony and it was such an amazing way to wake up and take in the beautiful view from our room.
The bed was comfortable and all the bedding was clean. You’re very much out in the elements here so there are some bugs and it’s not super flash but incredible value for money and we were very happy over all.
the bed some with a bug net so while we slept we had no issues!

The view was pretty in the morning
I did not like anything, there was mouse poop all over the floor the bathroom was disgusting, so many ants, blood on the curtains, no windows but plastic stuck with tape instead. Worst night of my life, also there was no toilet paper and i could hear a mouse in the night and something was bitting me through out the night

The bed itself was clean, the cafe next door was yummy. Best part were the staff who were very friendly and helpful Komang went above and beyond to allow us to see the sites of ubud being our personal driver for the day which we didn't expect but were very grateful for. We also had a transfer to another hotel which the receptionists son did for us. We are grateful for the extra gestures and hope this showed with our tips (we're not Brill at the conversions).
There was a leak in the bathroom due to the rain and lots of bugs but that's just due to the location make sure to bring insect repellent and use your mosquito net-we would have benefitted from this being kept down after our room was cleaned.

I love this place. Its a home away from home. Beautiful gardens, peaceful surroundings & has the Elephant Cafe on site - one of my favourite restaurants. Breakfast was nice & served on the balcony every day. Staff are very friendly.
Linen could have been nicer.

The view from the rooms, the quality of the food in the restaurant, the swimming pool.
The beds were uncomfortable and dirty. One had sheets one had no sheets but a Doona with no cover. There were no drinking glasses. The air conditioner was noisy all the time. The breakfast as cold and dreadful, we didn’t get an option they just selected food and delivered it to our room. The shower was boiling or freezing. The bathroom door didn’t close. The soap smelled awful. We were so far away from the town that we needed a lift to get in and the hotel managers charged an excessive amount each time. The restaurant is very dear. We only stayed two days out of the 7 and left.
