Good value, just plan your path beforehand

Great value for money, basic room but bathroom had a bathtub (although hot water didn't run for too long). Friendly owner & friendly dogs :)

Google maps scooter directions didn't work (not owners fault), you actually have to park bike behind Bintang supermarket & then walk a little way on small paths to find it (often normal in Ubud but would have been good to know ahead of time instead of driving around in rain)

Good value, good location, lovely host family

Location is excellent and quiet in a secure family compound with three cute fluffy guard dog pets.The rooms are fan cooled and windows can be opened.The rooms on the top floor receive a cool breeze all day as there are no other properties nearby.This means the views are also great.The gardens in the area are beautiful

Simple and Cheap Stay in Quiet Ubud

One of the cheapest private rooms in Ubud with great value for money. Friendly, welcoming hosts and a peaceful, traffic-free location. I appreciated the flexible late check-out, which let me shower after a midday yoga class.

Room and bathroom are dated. Bedding smelled musty and didn’t feel freshly cleaned. The 3-minute walk to your scooter might be a consideration for some, due to the no-traffic zone.

Kind and warming

This place felt warm and kind. The staff were incredibly kind. They had the sweetest little dogs there which made my stay and I fell in love. They had thought touches like giving me food and water up one arrival and departure. The room was large and cool enough even though there was no air con. The location is amazing and you can walk round lots of little backroads to lots of cute cafes and it was really handy being near the big supermarket.

The WiFi wasn’t good for me, but I think I was far away from the router. There was a cafe just round the corner which I worked from most days so the location helps.

Very nice stay

The owner was so gentle, the whole family was nice and welcoming. The place is not facing the main road, and so it’s very peaceful. But at the same time is very close to a supermarket and it’s easy to reach Ubud centre, that it’s only 5 min by car or scooter. We really enjoyed our stay at Suwar Bungalows.

It was close to where I attended the event, so I just need to walk. It's convenience place, very short walking distance to a big supermarket and a variety of places to eat

Good hospitality and quiet place if you don't have a lot of luggage and know how to get there.

Convenient location, tucked away and peaceful. Very friendly people and welcoming. Close to cafe, supermarket and within walking distance to Ubud CBD.

Very difficult to find as there is no signage from the main road. There is no direct access to the property for vehicles (pedestrian access only). Access involves a number of stairs which would be difficult for anyone with large or heavy suitcases.

muy buena relación precio calidad, bien ubicado y tranquilo. La familia muy amable y nos permitieron guardar nuestro equipaje mientras viajamos por Bali. además tenían un cachorro que nos recibía con mucha alegría cada vez que llegábamos al alojamiento

la cocina oscura y pequeña. la ropa de cama está un poco vieja.
