Big comfortable room with everything you need, nice bath in the room was lovely! Good bed and linen. Conveniently close to V&A Waterfront, DHL and promenade for walks alongside the ocean. Good breakfast was included

Home away from home!

Lived in Cape Town for 18 years, and have walked past this spot many a time. Now I live abroad and being able to book a week at the Dolphin Inn was my first option. It's exactly how I imagined. Quaint and quirky, filled with a very friendly "be a part of the family" vibes. Perfect location, great breakfasts, comfortable rooms. Will definitely return on our next adventure back to Cape Town, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for the ideal place to stay, give Dolphin Inn Guesthouse a bash.

Great stay overall, be aware of bathroom and road in front of the house

Lovely hosts, fantastic view, great room, one feels the privately run flavour in a positive way

Need to be aware, in the sea view balkony suite open bathroom with no door, and a four lane road between the house and the actual beachfront. No issue, but one should be less noise sensitive or just wear earplugs. Then no worries at all.

The location next to the marathon start line was perfect (though the marathon was canceled at the last minute )😭. Staff was wonderful and the food was good.

Personal service from the Host where the guests felt valued

Cooked to order Breakfast. Fresh fruit salad every morning. Excellent host (Karen) who knew all the guests by their first names and made sure everyone felt welcome. Honestly payment bar with wine , beer and soft drinks available 24hrs a day. Only 15-20 minutes walk from The Waterfront shopping , bars and restaurants.

I had the most wonderful stay. Lovely staff, Karen and her team makes you feel right at home. Immaculately clean room, very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Super location, awesome views. Ran on the Promenade every morning. Definitely won’t stay anywhere else in the future!

Wish we could stay longer

Karen was the most welcoming friendly accommodating host we've encountered in a long time. One of our rooms was ready early. We joined a large group of our friends who were already staying there and she accommodated us perfectly. The breakfast was next level, hand-made hot and delicious. I can't recommend The Dolphin Inn highly enough. A home-away-from-home type of accommodation

The room was beautifully appointed. An honesty bar that's available 24/7 with bottled water and more was really useful. Karen is a wonderful hostess. Such a beautiful breakfast setting with whales making an appearance right in front of us.

Comfortable spot to launch your vacation from.

Close enough to DHL stadium to walk. The promenade was directly across the street. The price was right. We stayed in their smallest room. It was tight but had everything we needed. Breakfast was communal and it was nice to meet the other guests.

Breakfast made to order was nice.

I was delayed due to airline changes and delays; even though they state they have a cancellation policy, they don't honor it. I ended up paying 3 nights for a 1-night stay despite letting them know as early as possible. Also, the room was hot and stuffy AF - no A/C.
