Ideal location with a very comfortable bed

Perfect location for exploring Cape Town - 5 mins from the bars and restaurants at V&A Waterfront and half an hour to walk to major sights in town. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfasts. And the bed was incredibly comfortable :)

The pool area was lovely - set in a garden - but sadly the water was very murky. We did not go in.

Wonderful!

The entire staff was so welcoming and helpful. I was sad to leave them. Llewelyn was especially great, as was the bartender No More. I world like to again say thank you to them snd to everyone else!

A bad experience

I informed reception that I had difficulty finding the hotel and reception replied saying I am not the only person . I was not informed of the facilities besides breakfast and was unaware of the restaurant and bar . There was no information file in the room . The bath towels were thread bare and need to be replaced immediately. There was no reception at breakfast to welcome or suggest a table . On return to my room the door was open with maintenance staff in the room . The room was extremely noisy with the road entering the Waterfront below the room so one hears every vehicle arriving or departing . I would definitely not recommend this hotel . The only reason for choosing the hotel was my regular hotel is closed for renovations .

Felt incredibly spoiled, absolutely luxury.

One word to describe the experience of staying at the Manor House is perfection. We were welcomed back like family, from our stay a year ago. The room (1404) is very spacious, beautifully decorated, huge bathroom with an amazing shower. Comfy bed, great WiFi. Excellent location for access to the Waterfront. Very safe and secure. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and a real asset to this Hotel. Delicious breakfast, make sure you give yourself enough time and go with an emoty tummy ☺️

Very good

Spacious bathroom, wonderful beds and linen. A short walk to the Saturday market (Oranjezicht), shops, museum, restaurants. Table mountain visible from the bedroom. Delicious, elegant breakfasts with a smiling Carol.

Bedroom is on the very busy road with the parking garages and all day, all night music from the restaurants and street artists. (Room)windows are not soundproof. No tumble dryer as stated in the description.

I would love to stay there again

Everything was amazing especially the staff.

One of the toilet sinks was a little blocked and water taps were a bit loose. It wasn’t a big deal really.

Unexpected stairs to the room and steps/slopes to access the road (not in the hotel details in Booking.com" .View of the green roof. Mini bar not re-stocked. Sofa very uncomfortable.

curious that a 5* hotel doesn’t have bath salts/foam bath for such a superb bathroom. Road noise could be a little intrusive at times.
