Great location, excellent breakfast, and exceptionally friendly staff.

It makes a difference who is staying in the other rooms — the metal staircase can be a little noisy when a group of eight friends comes stomping up the stairs in the early hours (4.00am)of the morning. But this is not the accommodation’s fault.

Location was great, very safe with very helpful security. Pool looked great, shame we couldn’t use it during our stay. Room is cleaned daily, by very friendly maids. We did ask for recommendations for a safari which was very helpful- definitely recommend Aquila for their day safari- about 2 hours from the guest house, bus included.

Communication lacked the most, hardly anything was explained to us about the hotel and its amenities during our stay. We were only told the WiFi information and what time breakfast was served, that’s it. The hotel needed us to change rooms during our stay, and even that wasn’t coordinated very well. We actually had to ask what time they needed us to change. We were most confused about the breakfast situation, food was just left out on the table, so we ended up just grabbing a coffee and heading out. We had to find out most things about the guest house and surrounding area ourselves. Some local information, menu, info on pool etc would have made our stay more enjoyable. Please note there is NO safe in the room. Which is worrying, especially if you have important documents like passports/money etc. Disappointed the pool wasn’t in a usable state, we were really looking forward to using it. It looked beautiful in the pictures and in person. It was incredibly noisy in the morning due to the open planned concept of the guest house, noise which started around 7am.
