Beautiful property the room and the location was perfect

Sometimes people from their sister property came to use the pool which we knew about but it was really nice when it was just the 6 rooms using it

Exceptional

It is difficult to choose one or two aspects of the Dock House to comment on. It was a unique experience. The suite was beautiful and spacious. The staff were exceptional and gracious. The service was first class and we felt like we really mattered to everyone. It was also great being able to use the Queen Victoria sister hotel facilities.

Excellent buffet breakfast - hot breakfast also available but buffet so good did not want cooked breakfast Savoury quiches and muffins , cooked meats and cheese , scones with jam and cream , croissants danish and Portuguese tarts - smoothies etc

Great and spacious rooms at waterfront

- perfect location - great rooms and bathrooms - high quality of the rooms - safe parking included

- Breakfast takes forever as they need to go to the other hotel to pick up the orders. So process is as follows: it takes more than 10 min until someone arrives to take the order. Then the guy needs to run to the other hotel to pick up the order. Really the only big drawback here - people from other hotel walk through the breakfast area and they also can use the same pool - this is not a big problem but counter intuitive to the privacy idea of this hotel

Our stay at the Dockhouse was in one word fantastic, beautiful house, very nice environment and all the staff were really so nice and helpful, really a very special place, definitely recommended and the nicest place in Cape Town. Thank you Donavan and team!
