There was a VERY LOUD party going on from around 6 - 9 ish on an upper floor. bit annoying

My stay at Blackbrick was exceptional from start to finish and full of continuous wonderful surprises starting with the complimentary orange juice I was offered during check in. All the staff was so welcoming and charismatic and never hesitated to help me a smile and go the extra mile to accommodate me. The hotels repurposed industrial design itself is beautiful, with wonderful acoustics. One of my many favourite things about Blackbrick was all the art I encountered. I really admired the contemporary art pieces dotted all over the hotel and the highlight of my stay was the live Jazz music that took place on Sunday night. I never went to the top floor to check out the actual event but I did enjoy the music just as much from my room because of the wonderful acoustics. It was so relaxing and really made Blackbrick feel more like a home than a hotel. The room and bed were so incredible comfortable with wonderful views and a balcony. I dare to say with all the amenities and quality of service that Blackbrick offers you get a luxury experience for a very reasonable and affordable price. I really love the area and the everything you need is in walking distance, I’d return to Blackbrick in a heartbeat. Plus they have a mini version of one of my favourite coffee chains in the lobby - Rosetta Roastery which was the cherry on top of my wonderful stay. If you especially love art and architecture, are looking for a staycation somewhere special or are just looking for a really functional relaxing longer term accommodation in Cape Town, I highly recommend Blackbrick where everything you could ever want and need is at your fingertips.

Breakfast let it be buffet NOT as is. The location is very good area. The dining area should be closed on the roof to avoid showers/rain drops.
The self catering room is good idea but put AIRCONDITION ON THE SITTING AREA.
