The hotel's deco was simple, beautiful and elegant, especially in the rooms. The view from my room was amazing and the breakfast was healthy. The pilates option was a great idea, too!
The pool is too small. The breakfast portions were quite small. The hotel's address displayed online was not accurate enough; it made Uber drivers stop few meters away and because the avenue was a one way, it felt scary walking that path in the night

We were even given a late checkout as our flight was late in the evening. I prefer this property a hundred times over Blackbrick Foreshore.
Some things are still being developed (for example a second staircase) but it’s totally fine.

Repurposed hat factory finished in urban chich design. Great barista coffee in the lobby/dining area, as well as multi-functional juice/smoothie bar which transforms into a cocktail bar at night. Excellent central location off a quiet side street and the free shuttle service will drop you off at any location within 5km. I liked the clean, minimalist (though very white) design brief and the rooms were essentially one bed studios with well-appointed kitchenettes and large fridges. Great view of Table Mountain on that side of the building and cityscapes on the other. A la carte breakfast, barista coffee and juice bar (latter two at slight additional cost) were added bonuses.
The pool really is just a plunge pool for refreshing, though the roof-top location is worth the visit and had great live music on one night of stay. There is a single lift servicing the entire building, and this can be slow with no easy access to stairs for those willing to use them. The very secure car park is a great and attractive feature, but this was overfilled on ocassion, though being more carefully policed on subsequent nights (which makes me think it wasn't being used exclusively by hotel guests, though lots of rental cars in the lot).

The hotel itself is beautiful, considered and sustainable. The repurposed building is cool and calming, but not stark or cold. The facilities are stunning and functional, and were even better than they looked from the photos - particularly the rooftop terrace. The emphasis on wellness and peace is super apparent. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and helpful, with the ability to be professional and smooth out a couple of tiny hiccups beautifully.
Nothing really! This hotel is very new, so occasionally there were moments where staff were finding their feet - but never an inconvenience. If I were super nitpicky I would love a coffee machine in the room, but really, there’s an amazing coffee bar downstairs which meant it wasn’t needed.

the very succesful renovation and decoration of this old factory building makes this hotel an attractive and trendy hot spot. With a nice roof top bar.
The personnel is very friendly
The insufficient external isolation of the building makes the bedrooms when heavy winds very noisy.
We had difficulty getting asleep as the windows were banging against the concrete walls

VERY clean and comfortable. Exceptionally well stocked apartment - every detail was thought of. The views were great. Very comfy bed and the AC worked perfectly. The breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was scrumptious. Very unique old factory converted into a hotel. And a great pizza place just next door.
I had a few issues with my door not locking and a blown fuse but they were immediately and professionally addressed.

Breakfast let it be buffet NOT as is. The location is very good area. The dining area should be closed on the roof to avoid showers/rain drops.
The self catering room is good idea but put AIRCONDITION ON THE SITTING AREA.

Building is modern, and accessible. Parking is convenient.
Room was not as advertised on Booking.com. It said there is a king bed, plus a pull-out couch in the living room. This was not the case. couch in living room is small and cannot be converted to a bed. False advertising. Furthermore the Air conditioning is only in the bedroom so rest of the room/apartment gets very hot. Industrial building windows are still in use and very thin so noise travels in. Roof pool looks nice, but it is ornamental and not really for swimming or lounging by.
On the first day while at breakfast came back to housekeeping leaving from cleaning the room, very odd time. Immediately felt something was off. Found money missing from my wallet. Contacted management and discussed with them. They said they would address it, but did nothing and did not recontact me, despite my raising issues with them multiple times. Subsequently did not feel comfortable with any more housekeeping, which sucks because we paid for the service but then do not get it. Also the rooms do not feel very secure, there is an outer wall that is opened with key card but no key is given for the actual room door inside. We had additional issues with the Elevator which is EXTREMELY slow (1 elevator for the whole place services ~14 stops?--we took the stairs, luckily only on the 2nd floor, but also found the stairs are not secure, anyone from the ground floor can access any floor. Our other issue was with breakfast, the selection is limited (no buffet, you order) and on multiple days we waited an hour or more to received our food and subsequently gave up. Not a nice experience, could be much better. Cannot recommend this place, especially given the price. Things happen, but for management to do nothing to address them and provide basic customer service, its just not worth it....

- Very friendly staff
- Great modern industrial design throughout the hotel
- Very tasty food, both lunch and (complimentary) breakfast
- Own Rosetta coffee place in the hotel lobby
- Free pilates trial session (done with a virtual instructor on the screen)
- Room furniture looked more high-quality on the pictures
- Too little storage area in the bathroom
- Pillows were a bit uncomfortable

The bed was okay.
We stayed at this hotel for one night as a group of three, and unfortunately almost everything went wrong from start to finish.
The problems already began at check-in. We were required to complete the check-in ourselves on a tablet. I honestly expect a hotel to handle its own paperwork instead of outsourcing it to the guests. A personal welcome? None.
We arrived on time because we wanted to use the pool and sauna before heading out for the evening. However, our room was not ready and we had to wait. After more than 30 minutes, I asked to speak to the manager. It took a long time for him to appear, and when he finally did, he simply said that it “takes time” and walked away. No apology, no solution.
When we finally got to the room, the air conditioning was not working. I reported it immediately. Another hour later, a technician arrived and casually said: “Oh, the air conditioning. I know it doesn’t work, and there’s nothing I can do about it.”
Good to know.
There was no compensation at all for the significantly delayed check-in or the broken air conditioning — not even a complimentary drink. On the contrary, staff reacted to our justified complaints in a rather rude and offended manner.
The rooms themselves have the charm of a cafeteria on the Death Star from Star Wars: cold, sterile, and uninviting. Cleanliness is mediocre at best (see photos).
Noise is a major issue: the room doors are poorly soundproofed, and the water pipes run on the surface. From around 5:30 a.m. onwards, you can hear other guests showering and flushing toilets very clearly.
The pool is tiny and bears little resemblance to the professional photos shown online.
Breakfast was another disappointment. The bread was burnt black on the bottom. When my friend asked for salt and pepper, the waitress said the food was already seasoned and refused to provide any. Unbelievable.
Overall, the staff appeared demotivated and even argued with each other at the restaurant counter in front of guests.

The hotel is brand new, so everything feels fresh and spotless. My room on the 6th floor offered stunning views of Table Mountain. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room had all the essentials for two, including a stove and oven, with complimentary water and daily cleaning.
The hotel features several independent food and beverage options downstairs, a rooftop restaurant and splash pool, a Pilates studio, and meeting rooms as part of its Live Work Social concept. The surrounding area is convenient, with nearby bakeries, restaurants, and a Garden Center a few blocks away. Free parking is an added bonus.
At this point, there wasn’t anything truly negative. There are still a few construction workers on-site finishing and fixing the last few rooms. Looking ahead, once the hotel becomes busier, there may be issues with elevator availability. Although the building has six floors, the elevators make up to 12 stops due to the two sides of the building, which could result in longer wait times if they stop on every floor. The restaurant and splash pool are also located on the 6th floor, which may add to elevator congestion.
Additionally, the glass sliding door cannot be locked when leaving the room; only the internal patio door can be secured using the key card.
