Great location, great staff, a little noisy if you're not part of the party.

Location is great, but street is very noisy at night, rooms do not have double glazing. Staff were wonderful, food was nice, decor is quite heavy and feels a little dated, but comfortable

Lovely experience

The breakfast was super, the location excellent, the very friendly staff, and the wines were excellent.

The room is not as big I expected. Not possible to open the window due to the noise coming from the street.

The location is amazing when you are young and want to go out . There are so many nice restaurants, bars and clubs around and it is not very far to the Waterfront. As there are so many young people it is quiet loud on the streets and you can hear a lot through the windows and wall.

The walls are quiet thin and you can hear almost everything what the neighbor is saying or which movie the neighbor is watching

The property is located at the city center next to amenities for shopping, dining out and entertainment. It is also near most tourist attractions.

The breakfast options are quite limited. They don’t serve traditional/local foods. The buffet is restricted to fruits only. The establishment does not have a gym nor an airport shuttle.

The most attentive staff

We had an excellent stay at Charles Hope, particularly as a result of how fantastic the team were. Jayjay, Rich and the team couldn't do enough for us. The apartment was super clean and comfortable and it had everything you could need. They truly made our first time in cape town.

Fabulous! It was hard to leave and I will definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was fabulous, located in a cafe right there next to the hotel entrance. The room was great - everything you needed and nothing more - clean, cosy, had a luxurious feel (even for a relatively small room, which was no problem to me). Staff were very friendly. I extended my stay for a number of days and would 100% stay here again next time I'm in Cape Town!

Would come back over and over

Where can I begin? Staff. They made my stay a perfect one. Extremely friendly, understanding and always willing to make you feel the warmth of South African hospitality. I cannot thank enough. The hotel is located at a walking distance from lots of bars, restaurants, art galleries and many of CPT’s main attractions. Room was beautiful and comfortable, with great design. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel has a nice vibe, is well taken care of and immediately makes you feel at home. Bonus points for having a washing machine and providing pods! It was very helpful.

Lots of potential but some dealbreakers: loud bar next door and no work desk in my studio.

Everything is new, clean and tidy. Friendly staff that clearly care about the customer experience. Amazing shower and bed. Convenient location. I felt safe and well looked after.

Don't stay in a room facing Shortmarket Street on a Friday or Saturday. There's so much noise! Loud music and revving cars till 3am. Even with ear plugs it's unbearable. I was in room 202. This alone would stop me from staying there again. Also, there's no desk in the room (studio), despite being advertised. Breakfast is mediocre. It's at The Wes across the street. I suggest excluding breakfast and instead going to Florentin just 30 seconds away. Best food I had in Cape Town. I dont recommend the studio for a couple as it's quite small. I also don't recommend it for a solo business traveller because there's no desk.

La stanza era piccola (nella foto sembra grande ma in realtà non lo era). Il letto era buono ma non era king size. Hanno cambiato gli asciugamani soltanto dopo 5 giorni e perche' io ho chiesto alla reception. La donna di pulizie era un po' "distrata" nel fare le pulizie... Ho prenotato una camera con inclusa la prima colazione, pero' ho dovuto sempre pagare il caffe' latte e il the' e nessuno mi ha avvertito prima che "le bevande calde sono a pagamento"....

Stanza bellissima sotto tutti gli aspetti, organizzata benissimo. Colazione fantastica inclusa, staff disponibile e cordiale. Consigliatissimo.

Purtroppo la nostra stanza era comunicante; ciò significa assolutamente nessuna privacy per tutto il soggiorno in quanto dalla porta si sentiva TUTTO. Essendo la struttura al completo non hanno potuto cambiarci camera. L'entrata dell'albergo ci è risultata un po' nascosta arrivando di sera. Pochi appendini

Schönes Hotel, mit toller Ausstattung in bester Lage und einem wundervollem Team.

Sehr freundliches Team, sowohl an der Rezeption, als auch im Restaurant. Mujahid ubd Awuele haben mir immer das Gefühl nach Hause zu kommen. Alle waren immer hilfsbereit, kompetent und sehr warmherzig. Danke sehr!!
