Blackheath Logde was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful . In a very safe convenient area withots of restaurants nearby. Now from from V & A. Very good breakfast. We would definitely recommend it.

This was our 3d stay with Blackheath and this was the best ever. Karen upgraded us to the Villa Lauren which was spectacular! Hamad took us to the Botanical Gardens and then lunch at Groot Constantia winery which couldn’t have been better. Then back to the lodge for pool time.

While the room was slightly small, it was furnished beautifully and extremely functional. The bathroom was a good size and comfortable. I liked having coffee on the small patio connected to the room. Breakfast was outstanding but the best part of our stay was the extremely helpful staff at every level.

We had a fabulous stay at Blackheath lodge , the place is beautiful and the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly…nothing was too much for them. Highly recommend a stay here . Great breakfast and parking and a terrific location from which to explore Capetown .

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were welcomed and felt at home. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Directions and guidance were given about day trips and safety. Our room was amazing and had everything we needed. If we are able to come back to beautiful Capetown, we will stay here again!

We are two 70-year-old women who felt carefully cared for and attended from start to finish. Godfrey and the other amazing people who work there knew what we needed before we knew. Their recommendations for dining and tours were the best we could imagine. The breakfasts were better than any restaurant we went to. The Lodge is cozy, warm (a must for us!), clean, and had the sweetest coffee and tea arrangement in the room.

The bar area is quite small so when there are parties travelling together you can be made to feel an imposter. Pool area is shaded which may suit some people. This was an amazing place to stay during our time on Cape Town. They genuinely care about their guests and will do whatever they can to help, including assisting in itineraries and bookings. It is a nice boutique hotel. They care a lot about the details. Friendly staff, Nice beds and pillows. I got a nice upgrade to a big suite with a balcony. I think they might all have an outdoor space. I would concider going back.
