A great hotel to base your stay

Great location Generally v helpful staff

Not a dislike but bearing in mind the price charged breakfast was ok but if you want extras you need to ask. The Sunday staff at breakfast seemed like they really didn’t want to be there. However a super hotel close to waterfront and sea point with great coastal walks

Wonderful hotel with a good location, great amenities and friendly staff

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel last month. The hotel was excellent and located within walking distance to the V&A Waterfront - a shuttle service was also run by the hotel between the two. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable with a view of the ocean from one side and Tabletop Mountain from the other. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We arranged some tours through the hotel and they were great at giving us recommendations. The food was fantastic and we particularly enjoyed sitting by the ocean and watching the dolphins with our breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel.

An unforgettable stay thanks to amazing staff, a stunning waterfront location and magical mornings.

It’s always a pleasure to stay here. Clayton from reception and C-Jay from the restaurant/bar are absolute stars and truly deserve special recognition for their consistently outstanding service. On top of that, waking up to the sight of dolphins swimming by is simply magical!

Honestly, nothing comes to mind. Everything met our expectations and we had a very enjoyable stay.

Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel

Literally right on the sea front and the infinity pool was fab. Relaxing or eating breakfast whilst watching the dolphins play was amazing. All the staff were so friendly and courteous. Breakfast was really nice and the egg station a great plus. On an evening the quality of the food was very good too (you have to try the chicken and prawn tagliatelle!). Would highly recommend this hotel to stay at.

The bar closed a little too early, usually by 1am.

Spectacular place

Friendly staff, very comfortable rooms and beds with the variety of pillows for you. The hotel has parking, it's easy to get to Waterfront with the shuttle and come back by walking. Sea point just around the corner to have long walks and enjoy Atlantic ocean. Breakfast served well with good variety of food and drinks. I'm sure that we'll be back here.

We had an upgrade to a Junior Suite with a wonderful balcony overlooking the sea. It was my birthday and we were given some champagne.

Our stay was far below expectations and unfortunately substandard. There were works taking place in the passage outside our room, yet we were never informed about this at the point of booking or even during check-in. The passage was left unkempt and dirty due to the ongoing works, creating an unpleasant environment. In addition, there were guests smoking around that same passage, and at times the smoke seeped into our room. Despite bringing this to the attention of the front desk, no action was taken. The only response we received was: “Oh, it’s unfortunate. Since you are checking out tomorrow, we thought an email had been sent about the ongoing works.” This dismissive response, combined with the overall poor experience, made us feel that there was no value for the money we paid.

Great treat for a birthday get away

Requested a room with a marina view - got both marina and Table Mountain view. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable with a variety of pillows. Bathroom had double basin, large bath and separate shower. We had cocktails at the pool deck - great selection of non alcoholic cocktails. Irish coffee in the bar after returning from dinner was perfect and warmed us up. The highlight of our stay was breakfast. Huge selection of hot and cold foods, and of hot and cold beverages. Delicious pastries on offer.

The location, rooms and atmosphere

The staff treatment at check in time, which was so unacceptable and affected the overall experience! The situation was my first booking got cancelled because of a failed scheduled payment, so i had to book again and confirm. After family members arrived from a 24 hour flight they said both bookings are paid for and confirmed, when i talked to the staff they kept going around and not being clear and refuse to show evidence of the other booking which is supposed to be cancelled! And when i kept asking for clarification over the phone she then refused to talk to me! I believe this was meant to scam my family members! Because they asked me over the phone that we have to have both bookings since its already confirmed and payed for! I keep telling them its cancelled and i didn’t receive any booking, they kept saying otherwise! And ask me to contact booking when there is systematically no issues on my confirmation! Nor payment was deducted from me twice! I then call booking for more clarification they confirmed 1 booking was cancelled and 1 is confirmed , they tried calling the hotel and emailing the hotel with no response! My family who i booked for were upset for having to set a while arguing and not resting with a smooth check in!!! This was very negative
