Great location - recommend sea point for Cape town - very clean and safe area and tour pick ups and hop in pick ups are very close - this hotel 1/2 block from water - 1 block to many restaurants -

Not much to say. We really liked everything. If anything, the room we got was on the smaller side. But beyond that, we had a really good time.

Perfect for the solo traveler. It has everything you could want.

Everything, the rooms, the restaurant, and most especially the staff. It was such a blessing to stay here. The staff were attentive and made me feel like I was at home. They helped me find transportation, as well as places to go and I so enjoyed their helpful hints. Also this place is centrally located right on the promenade just steps from the beach and the beautiful Sea Point Pavilion. I swam every morning and just loved it there.

The location, the food, the room, the staff one word EXCELLENT!

It’s rare that I book a hotel and almost cry when I leave but the staff at The Hotel Promenade were exceptionally welcoming! They were sweet, attentive and lovely people. I also got to meet the owner Mr. Linnoel who kept a watchful eye on me and the other guests. I felt safe and well cared for! I will be returning!

A very enjoyable stay and the team very good

Located a short walk from the sea front. You can walk the sea front all the way to the Waterfront. Plenty of restaurants near by. The hotel did good food. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to assist.

A/C wasn’t working, but the team were able arrange for repair and job done.

Good but not as good as expected.

The location is excellent. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were all very friendly.

Overall it was a pleasant stay largely due friendliness of the staff (as mentioned above) but the hotel does not live up to its claims as a 4 star boutique hotel. There were a number of things that were wrong which were not dealt with despite asking the manager several times to rectify them. The cover of the lounger on the balcony and the balcony balustrade had bird poo on them. Neither was cleaned during our week-long stay at the hotel. The other balcony furniture was tatty.

Amazing, relaxing, luxurious experience.

All of the staff took incredibly good care of us. The hotel manager, Tawanda, all of the staff in the restaurant, the ones that cleaned our space were all kind, caring, and lovely human beings. We were so grateful to have that kind of experience for our first time in the city of Cape Town, South Africa. We’d love to stay there again some day. Thank you so much to everyone from your friends in Washington, DC 😊

Nice rooms, but no hot water

Good location and rooms are designed well, very comfy.

I didn’t have hot water for both nights, despite sharing this with the reception nothing was done to rectify the issue. And nothing was done to make up for it (water was freezing). More an issue of service as I understand these things can happen.

The location is exceptional but more importantly the staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was excellent in the selection and quality of the food. We had dinner one evening and the dinner was excellent as well.

Outstanding boutique b & b / small hotel

Extremely welcoming.. very high standard small hotel similar to a boutique bed and breakfast. Stylish. Rooms compact but highly modern. Sensational breakfast cooked to order. Staff within a day knew my name and room number welcoming me back in a very genuine way...complete opposite of a large hotel where you are anonymous. This personalised approach appreciated by all but especially by me as a solo traveller. I stayed 15 nights and had been draw to it by the exemplary reviews which I found to be well deserved. Location superb. Only a few steps away to the beach or main shopping street.

Evening meal choices are basic. It needs to balance the needs of European travellers staying with them who are generally seeking something special some nights with its local customer base. It has new owners who have the task under review I was told.

Excellent location! The staff are wonderful, very polite and friendly. We felt truly welcomed. On top of that, the breakfast is spectacular, freshly prepared with great care!

The air conditioner in our room had an unpleasant smell. However, since we visited during the winter, we didn’t need to use it. We simply left the balcony door open, which kept the room fresh and well-ventilated throughout the night. This small detail did not make our stay any less enjoyable

I loved everything, it’s a super cute little boutique style hotel. We didn’t try the food as we had so many plans made outside the hotel, but the staff were amazing and the rooms were super clean. I will definitely stay here again.

We couldn't use the balcony that much because of building work on the other side of the road, thankfully that was only a problem during the day, when we were out exploring Cape Town and its surroundings.

I loved staying here and will stay there again whenever I make it back here.

The room and the bistro.. and the STAFF! It is a 30 second walk to the promenade and about a 50-minute walk to the waterfront. The room was large and well stocked with everything. I particularly loved that they had an outlet for all different plugs so I didn’t need my adapter. Netflix on the tv. Super comfy bed and pillows. And the bistro.. the BEST food ever! The shakshuka and eggs benny for breakfast were out of this world. The burger was huge and delish and the tagliata.. yumm! The staff were awesome and helped me so much - they made my stay even better!

Charming, warm, with good facility.

Wonderful hotel, though small, but with good facility. Terraces added space to the room, which was very well designed. There is a vibe of energy and enthusiasm. We felt so at home, after a day's activity. At the promenade, we enjoyed the most beautiful sunset.

Clean and comfortable spot in the heart of seapoint

A gem of a place to stay in Seapoint. Clean room and warm showers with clean towels. Street parking was easy. Room service available, but I did not avail myself. Many places to shop and eat around and just a block from the seaside promenade.

Felt a bit pricey for that, but no regrets here. I did have to ring the bell when arriving home late at night - felt bad that I may have been disturbing the night watch; would be nice if the key or fob opened the main door.
