The bathroom was tiny , the extraction fan wasn’t working. We had to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. We were not aware that the few drinks in the fridge were not complimentary.

Excellent find. Lovely hotel.

It was really quaint, with only seven rooms (I believe) which meant there was a personal touch. The breakfast was really good too and although we didn't get time to use it, there was a small pool too.

Our flight wasn't until the evening and although we were given permission to leave our cases in the lounge, there wasn't a toilet or room to use to change once we'd checked out which made it difficult.

It a small and cozy and great location … great bed and air con and very quiet at night and safe location. You can easily walk around these area to water front . They do really amazing home cooked breakfast. Staff was soo kind and very helpful. Please don’t go for those high end hotels in cap town … we really enjoyed here compared to President hotel . It has a cozy pool for sun bathing if you don’t like sand.

A peaceful place to stay in the city.

Pleasant, clean room. Safe parking. Helpful staff. The real stand-out, however, is the patio area at the back. It's very pretty and surprisingly quiet and peaceful given the busy streets outside. It was lovely to sit and relax in peace on the chairs and although the pool is small, it was great for a refreshing dip. I did not expect such a charming and peaceful area in the city.

The room itself was clean, balcony is nice, breakfast also.

We couldn't use the safe, it was not prepared, we didn't get the wine bottle which was part of the booking and all the coffee capsules in our room were already used so we couldn't have a coffee in our room. Bathroom is very small and the water pressure was not so good.

Perfect location, nice facilities and nice people

We had a lovely time there. Neil (who runs the place) is a great guy, who is ready to give you the best tips in Cape Town and also always ready to help you with anything there. The place is amazing, cozy, with great facilities and a nice breakfast (greetings to the staff who makes it). It is located in a nice neighborhood, with good restaurants around and also not so far from other places by uber/bolt. I would totally come back and recommend it!

Friendly and informative welcome gave us everything we needed for our stay in Cape Town. Used the hop on/off bus to see the sights at a value for money price. Recommendations for restaurants brilliant. Garden room clean and quiet. Breakfast lovely. Courtyard garden/pool area a little haven. Staff helpful. All was great for us. Wine in room thoughtful and unexpected.

Very nice and relaxed stay at the end of our holiday!

Very nice host. Good location in Seapoint. Safe area and with lots of young people. Was a really good vibe in the guest house and the location. Near Mojo Market, which is an awesome place. Located near the beaches. Neil takes time to explain everything there is to know about Cape Town! Very nice! We were checking out around 10am and could leave our bags with Neil, we could even use the showers and changing room at 5pm to get ready for our flight back. Great hospitality. We had a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay and I would suggest Villa Costa to any traveler in Capetown.

- Neil and the staff are really nice. He gave us a lot of very useful information when we arrived and he was very helpful and available for any need. - The breakfast was very good, with hot beverage and food. - The room was wide and very clean. We had a beautiful balcony in front of Signal Hill - The position is very convenient, many restaurant and bars nearby and the promenade just 5 minutes away.

Superb

Neill(the host) is such a nice guy. He is a pleasure to talk to and so welcoming. He immediately asked if we knew the area and quickly took us through the map, pointing out places to eat, where we can explore and suggesting what would be the safest way of getting around. The rooms are very cosy and the view a breath of fresh air. We had a lookout over the pool and a view of Lion's Head. The bathroom was clean, the room even had a safe and we also had access to Netflix. The breakfast was top notch and there were plenty of options available. Upon check out Neill even provided access to the store room to store our bags as we still had a hike before leaving, so that was very helpful and accommodating. I'd definitely recommend this stay to anyone new and old to Cape Town.

I think the only thing was that the bathroom was a wet room and there wasn't anything to dry up the floor after a shower(we didn't want to use the white towels) and we couldn't find the switch to the extractor fan(if there was one). We aren't fussy, so it didn't take away from the experience at all and everything else was amazing.
