Wonderful stay in SeaPoint

The owner of the property is a really nice guy and super helpful. Apartment is nice and has a great view above SeaPoint. Main Road is in walking distance. safe and quiet area.

Sam (the host) is really the star of the show. Very accommodating, great communication and we were never left uncertain

The view is spectacular. The open plan bathroom and bedroom are perfect for a couple’s retreat. It’s also a short walk away from the lodge so it minimizes driving. I worry about safety so having a garage to park in was a touch above the rest.

Unforgettable stay with breathtaking views 🌊✨

I had the most incredible stay at this accommodation! The breathtaking view over Seapoint alone is worth the visit, but everything else exceeded my expectations as well. The room is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and with its separate entrance, it offers absolute peace and privacy. Sam was beyond helpful—super friendly, accommodating, and always available for anything I needed. I truly enjoyed every moment of my stay and will definitely be returning next year. Highly recommend this gem!

Very rude communication

The room was clean and located in a quiet area. However, there was construction outside the windows starting at 9 AM for several days. The host addressed my issues and was accommodating, but his communication tone was very unpleasant. Initially, my flight was delayed, and instead of checking in at 8 PM, I arrived after midnight, traveling from the airport on unlit roads due to a city-wide power outage. The host called and pressured me to arrive faster, and when I finally got there, he bluntly told me that I should have stayed at the airport and booked a hotel there since I was late. That was a complete shock. He also recommended a laundry service he had used for 10 years without issues, but they ruined three of my expensive items. A linen T-shirt ended up with a hole, a white item turned dark beige, and an expensive shirt got a hole as well. Instead of an apology, I received messages saying that the clothes were already in that condition and that they would try to restore the white color by hand-washing them—and that I should appreciate this effort. Another shock. The next issue was with the doors. The only way to leave the room was through the garage, and when there was no electricity, it was impossible to exit. In my stressed state, I didn’t realize on the first morning that I needed to leave before 10 AM. The host then sent me messages with exclamation marks, insisting that he had already told me about this. The communication was very harsh and abrupt. I believe a proper locking door could be installed, or someone could be assigned to open it—but ultimately, it’s not my problem how guests are supposed to leave if there’s no electricity, especially when renting out a property. Aside from that, he tried to smooth things over by offering me wine, but I don’t drink alcohol. He also allowed a late check-out.

Prachtig uitzicht, over de zee met zonsondergang en toegang tot zwembad

Prachtige locatie! Geweldig uitzicht en je kunt vanaf de kamer de zonsondergang zien. De aanbieders van de kamer wonen zelf boven de kamer. Een auto kan handig zijn, er is een volledige plek voor de auto als je die huurt in de garage. Indien je te voet bent zoals ons, is het naar beneden lopen en binnen 10 minuten ben je bij supermarkten en restaurants. 5 minuten verder lopen en je bent op het strand. Denk er wel bij na; wat je naar beneden gaat moet je ook weer omhoog, en het is een flinke klim, maar je kunt ook voor ongeveer R40 een uber omhoog nemen mocht het nodig zijn. Je hebt ook toegang tot het zwembad van de loloho lodge (foto 3), ongeveer 10-15 minuten wandelen vanaf de locatie, hier kun je heerlijk in het zonnetje liggen en even afkoelen in het zwembad. Ook zie je regelmatig paragliders over zweven. Samengevat waren we zeer tevreden met het verblijf en als we vragen hadden werd er altijd meteen gereageerd. Zeker een aanrader in sea point - Kaapstad!
