It‘s our second stay here and we absolutely love it. Spacious, beautiful apartments, lovely staff and a great view. Feels like a home away from home and we‘re definitely coming back.

Well equipped apartments in a great location next to lots of cute little boutique shops, cafes and restauranrs. Staff helpful and friendly.

After being there for only a day we noticed the bottom of our socks were really dirty from walking about the apartment and so requested the floors to be cleaned which they advised was done, but at the end of the stay the bottom of my husbands suitcase that had been lying on the floor and was a fabric material was absolutely covered in dust which didn't make us feel very reassured about the cleanliness of the apartment. Additionally, there are no sun loungers or umbrellas on the roof where the pool is meaning its pretty much unusable and we had to therefore go to the beach instead, just something to be aware of if.

I loved everything about the property and how accessible it is to vital places like shops.

The host were very nice when it was time for check in but were very rude during our check out which made the overall stay terrible.

Excellent location close to the promenade and a selection of shops and restaurants. Comfortable accommodation with all necessary appliances. The pool on the top floor is a real bonus and secure on-site parking a real benefit if you come by car.

This was our third stay at Casa on Kei. We love the central location, modern design, big balconies. The staff are excellent - welcoming, professional - nothing is too much trouble. Having a lift, reception and off street parking is a big bonus. Some apartments are better equipped or better furnished so it is a bit of luck which one you get. There is a sitting area and a couple of small pools on a rooftop with great views of Lions Head. Beds are comfy and all bedrooms have air-con which is a lifesaver in hot months as the apartments are west facing. Best shops, restaurants and bars are just 5min walk away as well as the famous Sea Point promenade. Overall a great place to stay in Cape Town.

Some basic items were missing from the kitchen but this was quickly dealt with by the staff. The road outside gets noisy and busy with traffic but luckily all apartments have double glazed windows.

I love how simple, spacious, well maintained and daily cleaning service was needed because we had a baby. And the restaurant just within 2 minutes walk was functional for us. Safe street and beautiful calm view of the mountains and beautiful cars passing by down the street

Ideally located and with secure parking. Convenient and close access to swimming Pavilion, Checkers and the Mojo market. The kitchen was fully fitted and very practically designed. The coffee maker was a bonus. Nice bathroom with a large shower. The balcony allowed alfresco eating

It was located in a great location for me, 24/7 front desk. Place was as described.

Parking is a bit tight for big vehicles, the apartment itself is on the first floor and the inside of it is visible to the street. Smoking free property.

Everything! It was perfectly situated for beautiful views and short stroll to the local restaurants and bars. On-site parking and security wirh a roof top pool. The cleanliness was exceptional and all of the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Ok so I have mixed feeling about my stay. The staff were aaaaamazing! They were the stars of the whole stay :). The other thing that was amazing is the location - it is a 10/10 walkable distance to many cool cafes and restaurants on the epic Regent Rd, just a stone throw away from the promenade and I found it safe to wander around as a solo female traveller. The view of Lion’s Head was incredible and again the staff, amazing! Checkers is a short walk away and so is a dischem, so they win on location :)

The downside was the proximity to the road which meant disturbed sleep as a light sleeper and then the beds and pillows were not at all comfortable. You pay R1000 refundable damages deposit on arrival so make sure you have the funds for this. If it wasn’t for the noise from the street and discomfort of bed and pillows this place could easily be a 10/10

The location was in Seapoint a busy part of Cape Town but the apartment was lovely and peaceful. The accommodation was great with everything we needed. What made the stay excellent was the kindness and friendliness of the staff. Always had a welcome smile and tried to accommodate us in anyway possible to make our stay such a good one.

The unit is really beautiful, clean. It’s really affordable for normal people like us. I love the fact that it is near a lot of shops so we didn’t struggle with anything

There was absolutely nothing I did not like

Honestly, nothing. The property had a bad odour, was extremely cold with no proper heating or blankets, the bed was uncomfortable and noisy, and even basic essentials like hand wash, towels, and a floor mat were missing. The overall experience was very poor.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this property. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the place was not prepared for guests. The unit had a terrible odour, it was freezing cold with no heating facility in the lounge, and to make matters worse, there were no blankets in the bedroom. This was in the middle of cold Cape Town weather, and even with the aircon (which took forever to heat up), the room remained cold and uncomfortable. The bed was another disaster — completely uncomfortable and so noisy that just getting on it felt like it was about to fall apart. To add to this, the TV in the bedroom had been removed, and the cleaners casually mentioned the next day that the carpets had been taken out for cleaning — as if they were unaware that I was checking in. Essentials were also missing: no hand wash, no hand lotion, no hand towels, and not even a floor towel for when stepping out of the shower. For a property claiming to host paying guests, this was completely unacceptable. When I raised my concerns with the reception staff on the first evening, I was told he was just standing in and couldn’t help. He attempted to organise a blanket but failed. The next morning, I raised my concerns again, and even after speaking to Herv, the manager from TotalStay, the experience did not improve. His team tried to clean the smell with chemicals (which only aggravated my sinuses), attempted to arrange a heater for the lounge, and looked for blankets — but by this point, it was far too late. I had given them ample opportunity to rectify the situation, and nothing was properly resolved. As a result, I checked out the very next morning. Now, 5 days later, I am still being given the runaround regarding my refund. Booking.com and TotalStay keep blaming each other, each insisting the other is responsible for processing it. This back-and-forth has been incredibly frustrating and feels like I am simply being taken for a ride.

Review at Stay Accommodation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such a great experience staying at Today Stay Accommodation! The views were absolutely beautiful – I could have stared out the window for hours. The whole area was super clean and well-maintained, which made the stay feel even more relaxing and comfortable. One of the best parts? Everything is so conveniently located! Shops are just around the corner, and Checkers is only a 2-minute walk away – perfect for quick bites or late-night snacks. I’m already looking forward to coming back. This place has the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and great surroundings. Highly recommend!
