Perfect!

This accommodation is simply wonderful. Perfectly located in the most beautiful area of Cape Town, with sea and mountains views, surrounded by several cafes and restaurants. The staff are very attentive, and the hotel is clean and well-organized.

The fact that there is only one lift for guests caused some challenges on days when large groups arrived, but nothing that affected the stay.

Hotel is good

The hotel failed to provide a payment link for us to make payment and had to instead pay cash despite booking by credit Card. Secondly some staff are so slow.

Frustrating and over-priced for what we got.

The fact that we were a block away from the waterfront.

The room did not have shampoo or extra toilet paper. The shower drain was plugged, and the toilet flush leaked. When I reported all this to the front desk in the morning, they said they would take care of it. When we returned nothing had been taken care of but they insisted that maintenance says it is all fine. The first morning when I was telling the front office what was wrong with our room, the front office personnel were more concerned about how I was going to pay for my coffee. I didn;t feel like they were really listening to me.

The location was excellent.The gymnasium adequate for my needs and very quiet.There was nowhere to put your suitcase!

Gaps under the door made listening to people coming and going a little loud.The restaurant was under complete refurbishment which wasn’t told to me on booking.

The location in Seapoint is great. The bed was super comfortable. The rooftop area on the 4th floor is awesome.

Anniversary/Birthday weekend getaway

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We were always greeted with the biggest smiles and made to feel right at home. The room was very comfortable and big.

We booked a sea view room but got a street view instead. The tv quality was very bad and not enough streaming options. Not enough meaty breakfast options. The room didn't have a microwave for us to warm left overs.

staff was excellent, however cleaning personnel were loud and inconsiderate all day in the passage ways. Fire alarm went off and no elevator from 5th floor.... I always book through BonVoy, but this trip I was told booking was through booking. Gave them my BonVoy #, but it still went through Booking. Left early because of the noise, was told I would not be charged for un-used nights, but looks I was still charged. Breakfast was NOT free as advertised.

I simply expected better. At R16 000 (discounted rate) I should’ve booked an entire self-catering apartment.

Location. It was close to almost everything.

The hotel had poor quality bath towels, breakfast was an option for the price paid and so was parking. At R70 per day is ridiculous especially when staying at the Marriott. The TV was very small and only had DSTV channels whereas other hotels have Netflix, Disney Plus, etc.

Being in Sea Point , great beds and duvets , the rooftop terrasse for drinks , safe parking

That you have to block an amount on your creditcard if you would like to put payment ( bar) on the room ! They have all my details incl. creditcard and passport and signature -I am not running away and with checkout one can all settle that ! Make me feel like a crimunal to " pay upfront " !! Never had that before !

staff was amazing. we had tours and activities daily...all arranged by the amazing concierge and front desk staff. We were there this time last year and it feels like our CapeTown home. The location was great...a few steps to the most beautiful sunsets
