Excellent stay for 3 nights!

The rooms were perfect for a short stay, and the location is excellent. The breakfast buffet was decent and just about right. There are plenty of things to do nearby, making the location a real highlight. The air conditioning was very effective and the quality of sleep was good. Our room was close to the elevators, so there was a bit of noise at times, although this was not the hotel’s fault.

Perfect!

This accommodation is simply wonderful. Perfectly located in the most beautiful area of Cape Town, with sea and mountains views, surrounded by several cafes and restaurants. The staff are very attentive, and the hotel is clean and well-organized.

The fact that there is only one lift for guests caused some challenges on days when large groups arrived, but nothing that affected the stay.

The hotel failed to provide a payment link for us to make payment and had to instead pay cash despite booking by credit Card. Secondly some staff are so slow.

Frustrating and over-priced for what we got.

The fact that we were a block away from the waterfront.

The room did not have shampoo or extra toilet paper. The shower drain was plugged, and the toilet flush leaked. When I reported all this to the front desk in the morning, they said they would take care of it. When we returned nothing had been taken care of but they insisted that maintenance says it is all fine. The first morning when I was telling the front office what was wrong with our room, the front office personnel were more concerned about how I was going to pay for my coffee. I didn;t feel like they were really listening to me.

Anniversary/Birthday weekend getaway

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We were always greeted with the biggest smiles and made to feel right at home. The room was very comfortable and big.

We booked a sea view room but got a street view instead. The tv quality was very bad and not enough streaming options. Not enough meaty breakfast options. The room didn't have a microwave for us to warm left overs.

staff was excellent, however cleaning personnel were loud and inconsiderate all day in the passage ways. Fire alarm went off and no elevator from 5th floor.... I always book through BonVoy, but this trip I was told booking was through booking. Gave them my BonVoy #, but it still went through Booking. Left early because of the noise, was told I would not be charged for un-used nights, but looks I was still charged. Breakfast was NOT free as advertised.
