Nice location, if you don’t want to be in the city center.

Great location for going out for dinner. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and there was the opportunity to open the window, for fresh air.

The shower could use a deep clean but everything else was very clean. There is some noise from traffic but that is to be expected in the city and it is pretty well blocked with the windows closed.

Good location in a nice part of the city

The location is good, near to the sea front and some good places for food nearby. All the staff were great. Parking is under the building, which also has supermarkets and cafes. The room was big and comfortable, and the aircon worked well.

The lifts seem to have a mind of their own, you have to be patient. No real worries though.

The location was perfect …..right bang in the middle of where the action is in Seapoint.

I liked the fact that it was quite central. It’s also very neat & clean. The cleaning staff are so warm, friendly & helpful. Thank you so much for all their assistance.

What you can change is your Operation Manager Stephanie Ferreira’s attitude, demeanor & approach. When I checked in & saw that the room I was given was not the one I selected, upon raising this matter, she literally gave me a ‘marketing 101’ lecture about how when you select a room you do so based on amenities. So I asked what’s the point of putting pictures based on how you select when you can just write out all your amenities on text only & use that as your selling point. If I wasn’t adamant & firm , I would’ve had a super unpleasant stay in the room they originally gave me. I didn’t appreciate being spoken to like dumb person. Also, her tone was condescending.

The location is exceptional and close to all the best restaurants and stores - bed very comfortable and pillows were generous

We were thrilled with our stay at Newkings. The hotel location was excellent -within walking distance to many restaurants and the Promenade. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was superb- they arranged drivers at the last minute, and every request and question were met with a genuine smile. Highly recommend!

great hotel with friendly staff with more than enough amenities! consider this hotel when in Cape Town

the location was perfect. close to the beach. had lots of restaurants and coffee shops. if you want to skip a night out, there are 3 grocery stores in the area, 2 located in the same building as the hotel. central to many locations. room a huge and we had a perfect view of lions head. we had everything we needed including a microwave.

right outside the hotel there were homeless people that made me (a woman) feel uneasy. I just had my guard up all the time… but this is in any urban setting. this is not specific to Cape Town or the hotel. that was the just the nature of things.

A very enjoyable stay, excellently situated and we were made to feel welcome and appreciated.

The staff were very helpful, responsive and friendly. The room was large, well equipped and clean. The location was excellent and everything we needed was close by. We enjoyed our stay, which was the second time we've been at this hotel, and the good standards have been retained.

The pillows were a little hard and there was some noise from the road at times as well as a bit of door banging as people went through the fire exit to the stairs, which was right outside our door.

The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. They are always ready to try and make your stay better. The location is fantastic! There’s a supermarket downstairs and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. You can walk to the V&A with a view to the ocean and sunsets are amazing.

We were put in a room smaller than the one we had booked, had to ask for furniture and when it rained that was leak of dirty water inside the room. We had to pile up towels to contain it.
