Our stay at this venue was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived to the final goodbye, every detail was perfectly handled. Our host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home throughout our visit. The service exceeded all expectations, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Add to that the breathtaking views that framed our workcation, creating the perfect balance of productivity and relaxation. We had a wonderful stay connecting with family. Spacious rooms and lovely dining area were great.

The breakfast was lovely. Variety that made everyone happy. The location was great in order to get to the beachfront and surrounds.

The only downside was the lack of offstreet parking but we are aware that nothing can be done about that.

We had a lovely stay. Nothing to complain, room is comfortable and clean, communication with Maggie, the host, was very easy and straightforward.

Comfortable and adequate. The view from the room was good but it was west-facing.

The breakfast was an added bonus that we did not expect. The place was basic but comfortable.

Parking was a problem on a busy street. I know this is a perennial Cape Town problem but it affected us. The coffee making facilities were abominable and this is very important to me. There was a machine that needed a barister to operate and it made luke warm coffee. There were no sachets to make coffee, the cups in the room were minute, and there was no milk to add.

Convenient, nice deck

Location was very convenient. Beautiful deck. They were trialling a breakfast system and they gave it to us for free, which was a plus. The meal was very functional, does the job.

Deck was dirty with a lot of birds poop. Could have benefitted from mosquitos nets, the room was full of them and it was hard to sleep.

Boa localização, Cama confortável.

Café da manhã. Cheguei no início do café e só tinha 1 croissant, que não foi reposto pq já tinha acabado. Não tem muitas opções, disponibilizam ovos crus pra vc mesma cozinhar. Como o café só começa às 8h, se vc precisar fazer algum tour, vai sair com fome. Por não ser hotel, não existe um staff pra te auxiliar com nada.

Magnifique et reposant

Merci à Mariska pour son accueil chaleureux et sa gentillesse. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Anchor Bay Workation. La chambre était super confortable, la salle de bain spacieuse, il ne manquait de rien. Le petit déjeuner offert le matin est complet et suffisant. (Fruit, œufs, pains, céréales, fromage, yaourt, lait végétaux, café et thé) La vue sur Sea Point est juste magnifique et le petit balcon pour en profiter est un plus incroyable sur Cape Town. Très bonne localisation géographique et une adresse vraiment top. Nous reviendrons, mille merci Mariska, c’était parfait!

Excelente custo benefício, o contato com o proprietário foi bem fácil. Deixaram guardar nossas malas quando chegamos cedo, por mais que não esteja dito que tem café da manhã, eles disponibilizam água, café, sucos e algumas comidas simples que ajudam, não precisei gastar com café da manhã fora.

Mein Vater und ich haben knapp zwei wundervolle Wochen in dieser Unterkunft verbracht – und wir waren begeistert! Alles hat perfekt gepasst und wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die Gastgeberin war jederzeit über WhatsApp erreichbar, ausgesprochen freundlich und in jeder Hinsicht hilfsbereit. Bei einem kleinen Notfall hat sie sofort reagiert und uns schnell unterstützt – dafür sind wir sehr dankbar. Auch die tägliche Zimmerreinigung durch das freundliche Reinigungsteam war ein Plus, das wir sehr geschätzt haben. Ein absolutes Highlight war der morgendliche Kaffee auf der Terrasse – mit einem traumhaften Blick aufs Meer und das Stadion. Diese Momente haben unsere Tage immer entspannt und schön beginnen lassen. Die Lage ist ideal: zentral, ruhig und trotzdem nur wenige Gehminuten von der belebten Straße und der Uferpromenade entfernt. Wir haben uns in Kapstadt verliebt – und kommen garantiert wieder!
