Quiet hidden gem when exploring CT and its surroundings. Excellent breakfast, great hosts!

Fluent communication, notified us up front when the room was ready, outstanding breakfast - many options on the menu and well cooked, very fair prices for the shared fridge, laid back atmosphere and very positive vibe both in the shared terrace and garden (great spot to relax after a day out and about), as in the room - and last but not least very friendly, engaging and accommodating hosts. We will definitely be back next time we come to CT! Kloof street is walking distance if you want to step out for dinner or drinks.

If anything, the pool was smaller than we expected from the picture BUT - this being our first visit to SA, all pools are typically smaller than elsewhere in the world and it's a decent depth for a refreshing splash.

Absolutely great place to stay in Cape Town!

This is truly a great place in Cape Town! The house is cosy and beautiful, situated in a safe neighborhood. The owner and his personnel are very sympathetic and helpful. The garden and (breakfast)terrace is surrounded by lots of green and provides privacy and a serene environment, with a small but well maintained and nice pool. Last but not least: the breakfast is just fantastic! An absolutely great place to stay in Cape Town, with a very good price-quality ratio. Recommended!

Fabulous and super friendly host who gave us excellent tips, even though I knew the city well from living there a few years ago. Roland was honestly one of the nicest guesthouse hosts I’ve ever met. Also the guesthouse is so well situated. Beautiful breakfast every morning.

Charming guesthouse with great staff

Cozy guesthouse with just 5 or 6 rooms, each individually and lovingly designed. Breakfasts are hearty and delicious. After the first morning, we were met at the table with our beverage of choice. The staff is fabulous! Roland is charming and brimming with useful information. There is a lovely outdoor space with a small pool but it was to chilly for us to enjoy. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The best guesthouse in Cape Town!

We loved everything! Roland was the best host you could possibly imagine, he gave us every morning his tips to visit Cape Town in the best way and was so considerate. The place itself is heaven : clean, very well situated, decorated with taste, and in a very safe location. There was even someone to watch our car during the night. All in all we had a great stay, and would definitely come back again!

A home away from home

Very conveniently situated, and so comfortable that it felt like returning home after a day's work. Everyone so friendly that it was a pity to have to leave. The breakfasts are fantastic, setting one up for the rest of the day, no need to eat lunch after such a feast!

Fabulous stay in Cape Town

Lovely guest house near to kloof street many good restaurants and bars nearby. Supermarket in walking distance. Beautiful garden where we had breakfast each morning which was also very good. Roland the owner is a great host and had many suggestions for places to eat and tips in general for Cape Town that were extremely helpful. All staff were friendly and helpful and we really felt at home here. Would definitely stay again if we return to Cape Town.

The host Roland is extremely friendly and helpful also provided a lot of insights and tips for visiting Cape Town. The location of guesthouse is very good -- Safe and easy to access to major spots. Strongly recommend this guesthouse for people who want to discover beautiful Cape Town.

It would have been perfect if the shutter of window can be managed easily - though it did not affect anything during our stay.

We had a lovely time here and it was very convienently located within Cape Town. The host was very friendly and flexible, he gave us good tips for our South Africa trip and helped us a lot to change our booking when our flight was cancelled. The house is beautiful and the breakfast was superb.

Highly recommend this B&B in Cape Town! Beautiful space in a nice neighborhood.

My wife and I stayed a couple nights at the start of our honeymoon. Roland and his wife took the time to chat and give advice about the city. They are both very warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and the breakfast was delicious!

Could not think of a better place to stay in Cape Town! Roland's advice and help was invaluable!

The breakfast was wonderful. Such a good selection of breakfast options that were made-to-order and of the highest quality. I have never had more delicious or fluffy scrambled eggs. Every breakfast included a wonderful fresh fruit plate including local in-season fruit of perfect ripeness. Wonderful kiwi, dragon fruit, papaya, mango, etc. Great coffee and capuccino. Delicious orange juice. Gracious and friendly staff. Location could not have been better with a quiet safe neighborhood two blocks from Kloof Neck Road and easy access to Table Mountain, Lion's Head, Signal Hill, Waterfront, Hout Bay and the Peninsula. Easy walk to many fabulous restaurants on Kloof Street.

Beautiful old house in great location. Roland was so helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast in the garden was exceptional a great start to the day. Walking distance to some good restaurants and a short drive over to Camps Bay. We loved our stay and thoroughly recommend.

Amazing guesthouse!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner and staff are very friendly. The room was tidy and spacious. Same goes for the bathroom. The style of the guesthouse is beautiful with an African touch. The location was excellent; restaurants, shops and Tafelberg + Lion's head were close-by. Breakfast was great with various options. The full experience, topped with complimentary fruits and cookies made it feel like a home.

The water pressure in the shower was very low and the temperature was difficult to regulate.

Super relaxing, charmed guesthouse with personal attention - great for first time visitors.

The guesthouse is gorgeous and lovingly appointed, with multiple pleasant and comfortable places to relax - indoors/outdoors, in the sun/in the shade. The breakfast is copious and delicious. The location is in a very quiet area, only a few minutes from a wide variety of restaurants and cafes, and you will enjoy the views of table mountain and lion's peak from many different angles. The best part is the personal attention offered by the host, particularly helpful for first-time visitors to South Africa.

I would prefer a door for the shower stall instead of a glass pane that only partially encloses it, to avoid water splashing on the bathroom floor.
