We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Jardin D'ébène Boutique Guesthouse in Capetown. It’s a lovely neighborhood within easy distance to tourist sights and safe to walk to nearby restaurants in the evening. Roland, the owner, is very helpful with recommendations. There was construction being done while we were there and we weren’t able to partake of the guesthouse’s own breakfast so we can’t comment on it, but there was a great cafe within a short walk where we enjoyed our breakfast, compliments of Roland.
Everyone praised the breakfast so we're sorry it was unavailable. But the cafe were we ate breakfast was lovely.

We had an absolutely perfect two-night stay at Jardin d’Ébène Boutique Guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our host, Roland, who was always available for a wonderful chat or to offer great local advice in the beautifully decorated and comfortable guest lounge. Our room was excellent, featuring a very spacious shower room. The guesthouse boasts a stunning garden patio with a great pool, making us feel completely safe and right at home. It is also within easy walking distance of the main restaurants on Kloof Street. We will definitely be back—thank you so much, Roland!

Lovely oasis with extremely welcoming and professional staff and owner. They kindly organised an early breakfast to fit with our plans.
Mattress could have been slightly more comfortable. Personal choice!
