EVERYTHING! The decor, the hospitality, the attention to detail, the views, OMG THE VIEWS, the breakfast, the staff, the location, the parking, the comfort, the communication. Like I said, everything.

The pool could have been warmer. But I suppose it's warmer, naturally in the summer. And maybe a full length mirror in the room. Had to fight with my teenage daughter for the only mirror in the bathroom hehehe.

I loved the view from my room, breakfast, thanks to Sharon and all the attention she gave to each guest, Christine for her help in organizing small group tours, and Lulu for being so welcoming on my first day! Ubers arrived quickly and were a great way to get around. Super close to Table Mountain ~ incredible photos!

maybe more time with Christine my first or second day to get some "insider info" on where to go. There were brochures but it would have been nice if we could have chatted briefly without it feeling "rushed".

The lack of warmth and ambiance was a problem for me

Breakfast was good and the guesthouse is well maintained,very modern and all the furniture is in very good condition.

I find the guesthouse does not have ambiance.No warmth,hardly any interaction with the host. The fact that you need to pay for Nespresso pods in the rooms,is odd.Rather supply only four pods,but that should be on the house,or have another type of proper coffee facility ,on the house,available to the guests.

Stunning apartment - Lots of rules!

This property is practically heaven in almost every way. The location was amazing with the most incredible view of table mountain to wake up to in the morning and view of the city lit up in the evening. The chef Sharon and her breakfasts in the morning were the most spectacular i’ve ever seen and tasted. Facilities and amenities were well thought of from a honesty box for spirits, fridges with drinks at reasonable rates, hair dryers, even ice in the freezer if you had one in your room. There is TV with netflix for when your exhausted and a pool (not heated). A beautiful indoor dining area and an outdoor one on the patio. I loved everything about the accommodation.

My one small issue was with the host. Now don’t get me wrong we didn’t go without anything and no request was refused but there are a lot of rules for this accommodation as it has recently been refurbished. You can’t use the kitchen which is in the communal area. One evening we was exhausted and ordered a take away and just needed a plate and cutlery. Suddenly the host appeared and explained we aren’t allowed in the kitchen. Like i said she didn’t refuse us and accommodated our request but it felt like we was being watched like children (we are a group of two mums and two friends aged 30+ so it was uncomfortable). You are requested to wear only certain sunscreens so you don’t stain the bedding, only watch certain channels on netflix, don’t eat in your rooms. Recommend reading the rules and knowing what to expect. Of course non of this is an issue of out all day and night and like i said understandable when you spend a lot of money on a property and home but yes we felt slightly uncomfortable and like children.

I have lived in 8 countries for 45 years and have travelled extensively. This place was out of this world, and to have Table mountain to wake up to every day was words fail me....so breathtaking. Landlady was Swiss and kept everything running calmly and so clean. Breakfast was fabulous, good friendly place to be. We will be back

Best breakfast we had on our entire journey with fresh fruits, joghurts, great cheese, musli marmelades, eggs and proper bread - all high quality products Owner and staff are very friendly and always around if you need them Design of the house and the rooms is high quality and modern - and we were lucky and got an upgrade ;) Location is awesome directly below lions head mountain with great views of Tafelberg and the city bowl and you are in close walking proximity to Kloofstreet with all you need for drinks and food

We had a short two night stay,lovely,clean,modern facilities. Christine is very friendly and welcoming.They helped with even the smallest request,with care of travelling tullips for my mum. The location is very convenient.Our morning view of Table mountain was just breath taking. The breakfast,Lulu and Sharon make such lovely breakfast. We had the best time and will surely stay again. Bay view was such a cozy and comfortable place to stay. It was beautifully built, decorated and set out. Christine was so kind to upgrade our room on arrival of our stay and we really loved it. The beds are so comfortable and ensured a good nights rest.
