Exceptional service throughout my stay at The Glen Boutique Hotel. Even on a short stay, I interacted with around 20 staff members, and every single person was attentive, friendly and helpful - a real credit to the hotel. Special thanks to the night manager, Lydon, for arranging an extra night when my flight was postponed. I look forward to returning soon.

I wish I could stay longer!

The hotel has an amazing atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. You can expect luxury. We had a minor booking issue which Takunda and the team took care of it. Many thanks again. The breakfast was amazing and I especially enjoyed the winter bakery pieces.

The suite next to the spa was very nice. However, it is close to the breakfast terrace which can get busy in the morning. Besides there is not much to note.

Standard room is small. On our last morning the staff took a long time to serve us and I had to speak several times to them, this was a shame as we had ate there for all our meals and had no problem's previously.

We stayed in the older part of the property and I loved how it was decorated but the wind did keep us up (I know that you can’t change the wind but it whittled through room 6) could be worth looking at the door/ window fittings. Apart from that everything was great!

Absolutely wonderful stay. The facilities were excellent and clean, the rooms were lovely and the staff were exceptional. We really enjoyed the great breakfast and the perfect ambience the staff create. Location is excellent and the guys really can’t do enough for you.

Beautiful property in a good location! Ubers were easy, cheap and quick to arrive! Shops and a few restaurants within walking distance! Hotel staff were lovely!

Had a few issues with our room not being cleaned before we returned in the afternoon but do not let this affect your decision to stay in this charming hotel!

From the moment I arrived at Glen Boutique Hotel, I was blown away by the incredible staff, outstanding service, and impeccable cleanliness. After a long flight, being welcomed with a chilled glass of sparkling wine was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise; the perfect start to what turned out to be an exceptional stay. I’m convinced everyone here must have graduated from the world’s best charm school as every single person I met was wonderfully kind, professional, and always armed with a dazzling smile! A special thank you to Nkhosi, Taps, Sandra, Takunda, Carsey, Abongile, Lwazi, Lydon, and Davidtso for going above and beyond. I didn’t manage to catch everyone’s name, but every interaction was wonderful. And of course, a big thank you to Mark, who greeted me each morning with the warmest “Good morning!” and the biggest smile - a lovely way to start each day. The hotel itself is spotless, beautifully designed, and feels like a little oasis in the heart of Cape Town. The breakfasts were delicious, the pool area serene, and the attention to detail second to none. If you’re looking for a place that combines boutique luxury with genuinely heartfelt hospitality, Glen Boutique Hotel is it. I can’t recommend it highly enough (though part of me wishes I could keep it a secret!)

My only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer!

the breakfast buffer was brilliant with a variety of food to chose from especially the breads. The smiles by the staffs is very welcoming and makes you feel at home.

Beautiful boutique hotel with renovated rooms in the original building and also new rooms in the new one. Friendly staff and owner. 24hr reception which is great. Amazing breakfast, with a lot to choose from. Location is great and felt very safe. I had an issue with my water pressure and temperature in the shower. I informed front desk about this and it was fixed promptly.

Would like for the hot food to be hot, pancakes, waffle were cold. More hot breakfast variety especially when it’s prepaid.

The room I used was not of a 5star standard, the bathroom carpets were slippery on the floor when wet. I did not sleep well all night with the beeping sound of the fire detector system in the room with a flashlight

We loved everything about our stay at The Glen. The staff was exceptional, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and our room had everything we needed and more. We loved all the little extras throughout our stay. The massages we got at the spa were some of the best we’ve ever had.

every thing is perfect

Our stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. Even in winter, it felt like a luxurious retreat. The room was spotless and cozy, with a private balcony that added a lovely touch. We especially enjoyed the indoor jacuzzi and sauna, which were perfect for relaxing after a day out. The pool area was stunning, and while we didn’t get to use it because of the weather, it’s definitely a reason to return in summer. Breakfast each morning was a highlight—an elegant spread of fresh pastries, meats, cheeses, fruits, bagels with lox and avocado, along with a cooked item each day. The variety of eggs Benedict, including a standout Eggs Florentine, made it feel like a boutique brunch experience. What really made our stay special was the attentive and genuinely kind staff. Their warmth and attention to detail made us feel completely at home. We can’t wait to come back!
