Lovely pretty villa, nice pool, excellent breakfast, friendly host

Location near Kloof street. Pretty house with nice shaded courtyard with lemon tree, nice pool with plenty sunloungers in shade or sun. Big breakfast area. Excellent breakfast and good coffee. Henry very friendly and helpful advice. Lovely modern bathroom

Excellent choice for our short stay in Cape Town whilst attending a family wedding.

The hosts were very welcoming and helped with enquiries about activities. Also helped to retrieve some binoculars left in the taxi after a trip around the Cape Peninsula. We loved the front courtyard and the pool area, although didn’t have enough time to use the pool. The two bedrooms, with en suite facilities, were very comfortable.

No dislikes. Neighbourhood and property felt safe and secure.

An oasis in the best part of Cape Town.

The included breakfasts were outstanding! Menu items offered in addition to a gorgeous spread of local delicacies. Simply wonderful. Our host, Henry, made this stay very memorable. Will absolutely return.

Utterly beguiling

What an oasis! Beautifully decorated, peaceful and brilliantly located, with a lovely garden to relax in, and a brilliant breakfast. Host (and dog!) were very friendly and helpful, and we loved being able to hike to Signal Hill and Lion's Head directly from the house itself.

Great family run apart-hotel

Superb location Great 'boho' relaxed atmosphere, especially in the main house. Exceptional breakfasts. Henry and Andrea are wonderfully warm and convivial hosts. Lovely to have fresh flowers from the garden on our towels and by our beds on arrival.

Great stay, beautiful facility, would definitely recommend

Amazing breakfast buffet - loved having breakfast over looking the beautiful garden with lush greenery and wonderful pool. The facility has several outdoor and indoor seating areas. Local cafe a few steps away and Kloof Neck and Kloof street within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.

A perfect and friendly get away in a nice neighborhood

Its a beautiful and truly Mediterranean get away in a nice calm neighborhood and very friendly persons (German speaking). The breakfast was extraordinary good and healthy, very good coffee, too. We would definitely recommend to stay here - also to be able to see sweet little dog Charly!

It might be more expensive than others, but with the breakfast included we liked the value getting for our money.

A most exceptional stay!

Henry and his team were the most excellent of hosts. Their attention to detail, attentiveness of guests, food were second to none. The accomodation is well placed in proximity to town and Blue Cafe. Ubers are a very easy and safe way to get around from the Villa too.

It was too hard to leave! ;We’re not sure we’ll get service like that again!

Amazing hosts, really went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Great breakfast, airy and light breakfast area and relaxing garden. Cute place with a really nice and quiet location.

When it’s cold outside (we visited at the end of Aug) it can be quite cold in the rooms as there is little to no heating. However, it seems this is the case in most places in south africa.

We could not have stayed in a more perfect Guesthouse in Capetown. Henry's breakfasts are delicious and will power you through the day. Both Henry and Andrea are long-time Capetonians who will give you lots of great advice on what to do, where and how. Their Guest house is a charming Victorian era home, beautifully renovated and perfectly located in a very safe neighbourhood.

Home away from home - a gem right in town.

The breakfast was amazing – everything you can wish for was served. Yoghurt & muesli, bread, fresh eggs, bottomless coffee – what an incredible start into the day! The bed was great, the shower had just the right pressure, the room was small and cosy (the name Cosy Corner is well deserved) – I really will be back! The hosts were helpful, friendly, witty and very attentive. I felt at home the moment I stepped into the property.

Eine wunderschöne Oase in Cape Town…

Phantastisch!! Das Haus befindet sich in einer ruhigen Gegend. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Sehr schöne Anlage mit Pool, die zum Seele baumeln einlädt. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der sich sich um seine Gäste kümmert. Zuvorkommendes Personal, leckeres Frühstück, bequeme Betten und alles liebevoll dekoriert. Vielen Dank für alles!

Perfekt von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise alles super

Das Frühstück war sehr delikat und reichhaltig, frische Speisen und leckere Getränke und perfekter Service. Die Lage war ruhig und vor allem am Abend fühlte man sich auch außerhalb der Unterkunft zu jeder Zeit sicher. Gute Restaurants waren fußläufig erreichbar und ebenfalls sehr gut. Der Besitzer stand mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und war auch bei Buchungen für Ausflüge behilflich. Er hatte jede Menge Tips parat. Rundherum ein "sorglos Paket". Jederzeit wieder und absolut zu empfehlen.

Wie Urlaub bei Freunden ☺️!

Entzückende Viktorianische Villa mit Pool und Garten in bester Lage! Der Gastgeber Henry betreut seine Gäste jeden Tag unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam und gibt einem das Gefühl, dass man hier Urlaub bei Freunden macht. Nach ein paar Tagen fühlt man sich bereits wie zuhause:-) Die Reservierungen für Restaurants waren ausgezeichnet, alle anderen Tips und Empfehlungen ebenso. Hervorzuheben ist das liebevoll servierte Frühstück mit hochwertigen Produkten vom Gastgeber mit Sorgfalt ausgesucht ! Wenn man es etwas persönlicher mag und den Charme einer alten Villa schätzt ist man bei Henry und seinen netten Mitarbeitern bestens aufgehoben.

4wundervolle Tage

Die Lage der Unterkunft und Sauberkeit der Unterkunft war sehr gut - das ausgedehnte Frühstück haben wir sehr genossen ! V.a hat uns Henris freundliche und fachkundige Art sehr geholfen- sein Insiderwissen ist enorm-dieses hat uns unsere 4Tage in Kapstadt optimal ausnutzen lassen ! Wir kämen immer wieder!!!

Wunderschönes Haus mit sehr schönen Zimmern in toller Lage

Sehr schönes Haus mit tollem Garten, geschmackvoll eingerichtet in einem schönen und sehr sicheren Viertel. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und aufmerksam und ich hab bei Ankunft kostenlos ein Upgrade von meinem Zimmer bekommen. Das Frühstück ist sehr liebevoll hergerichtet mit toller großer Auswahl, frischem Obst und Eierspeisen. Ich habe mich rundherum wohl gefühlt und würde jederzeit wieder hingehen. 100% ige Empfehlung von mir.

Absolut empfehlenswert

Für uns stimmt hier alles. Ruhige Wohngegend, freundlicher Empfang, ein Schmuckstück von einer Villa mit Pool und nettem Innenhof mit riesigen Zitronenbäumen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und liebevoll gestaltet, Blümchen auf dem Nachttisch etc. Dusche ausgezeichnet. Eine kleine Selfservice Station mit Getränken und Snacks , hier kann man noch ein Bierchen oder Wein kaufen und vor dem Kamin den Abend ausklingen lassen. Gutes Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Ein angenehmer Plausch mit dem sympathischen Gastgeber Henry, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
