Wonderful spot, with beautiful views, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious and the location is in a easy and central spot. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay!

We had a lovely stay at De Tafelberg Guesthouse. Great breakfast, very kind host, astonishing views and great location. Definitely will recommend it!

I never wanted to leave

The staff were so lovely and thoughtful and went above and beyond with little touches. We were staying on the first floor and the table outside our room was reserved so we didn’t have anyone looking in which we were in there. The breakfast is a great spread of hot and cold. The place is beautiful and well kept. The pool was cleaned every morning we were there as were our rooms. You could ask anything from special requirements to general advice about places and activity’s. If I am ever in Cape Town again this will 100% be where I stay again. The view from the balcony, was great when having breakfast but particularly at night.

Thania and staff were very friendly and helpful! Couldn’t fault them! Location was good and close to Kloof street, Bree street etc for restaurants and bars (short drive).

Breakfast wasn’t great, could do with offering better pastries. Room was noisy, situated with great pool access but was located beneath the breakfast dining room and could hear all the chairs dragging from 8am (when breakfast starts) and a very creaky floorboard. Could do with upgrading bedroom doors to maybe block out more noise.

Only issue is the parking spaces were a little tight. I didn’t realise I booked one of the smaller rooms.

Ein Zimmer war geräumig und ganz schön, eins mit kleinem Bett und deutlich kleiner.

Zimmer im 1.Stock, ohne Aufzug. Keinerlei Bereitschaft beim Gepäck behilflich zu sein. Beim Frühstück wurden zum Beispiel keine Eierspeisen angeboten.

Persönlich-Privat-Perfekt

Wunderbare Unterkunft in Kapstadt mit tollem Blick auf City Bowl, Meer, Lions Head und Tafelberg (im Rücken). Thanya ist eine liebenswerte und aufmerksame Gastgeberin, ihr Mann und ihr kleiner Sohn unterstützen sie dabei. Das ganze Haus ist mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet, wir waren buchungsbedingt in zwei verschiedenen Zimmern, zunächst in der Deluxe Suite im Obergeschoss (Raum 8), dann im Luxury Pool Queen (Raum 3); beide toll, 8 größer mit noch besserem Blick und heller, 3 mit direktem Zugang zum Pool. Pool Handtücher werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen, Tee und Kaffe konnten wir uns den ganzen Tag selber machen, es gibt zudem eine „honestly Bar“ wo man sich für faire Preise mit Wasser, Soft-Drinks, Bier und Wein selbst versorgen kann. Parkplatz für Mietwagen in abgeschlossenem Bereich vorhanden. Bei unserem nächsten Kapstadt Besuch werden wir wieder im „De Tafelberg“ einkehren.

Das ist die Unterkunft, die wir mit Sicherheit bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Cape Town wieder wählen und auch weiter empfehlen werden! Rundum zufrieden. Perfekte Lage sehr gutes Personal und Thanja ist die perfekte Gastgeberin. Sehr ruhige und sichere Lage, mit perfekter Aussicht auf die City.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln!!!
