Breakfast great. Bed super comfy, nice lounge.

Some of the staff are excellent, but some are not friendly enough for convenience for a 4 star rated guesthouses. F.i. if you like/need towels for the pool etc. staff must always be kind and welcoming. I would suggest to keep pool towels openly for guests at all times or at least during the day. Unfortunately towels in room were not clean. 24hours reception was not available at night during all nights of stay, due to emergency situations not good.

~Good location away from the hustle of central Cape Town, an easy Uber ride to anywhere Staff are friendly and breakfast was good Lovely pool at the front of the guesthouse

There are a lot of steps!! Our bedroom floor could have been a bit cleaner but the bathroom was immaculate.

Gorgeous old house, sympathetically laid out and nice rooms. It was lovely! Delicious breakfast and excellent location. Friendly and efficient staff.

Nothing! My room was near the kitchen, but there wasn’t any noise or smell from breakfast. Brilliantly done.

A lovely base close to the city centre

The owner of the property was the best part, purely because he was such a lovely, considerate man who made our stay so nice, and made us feel so at home. Outside of this the home itself was really comfortable, spacious and the facilities were great.

I think professional photography would go a long way in this property as I feel the current photos don't do it justice. It's a bit of a walk to the city (a very nice walk though), but in regards of proximity to the City, Camps Bay/Bantry and Constantia, it's very well positioned.

Breakfast was good, fresh and satisfying. The owner made fresh pancakes on request which was really appreciated. We had personal interaction with the owner who was very friendly and went the extra mile for us with 1 vegetarian in the family.

Great location - short walk to Kloof Street - also quiet. Very comfy bed and great bathroom. Owen is a legend! Will be my new base in CT.

Would definitely stay over at Cape Riviera again!

The breakfast (scrambled eggs with bacon) is fabulous. Granola an yogurt with fruit was also great! The house (or mini-castle :) ) is very unique! In general, Owen is simply a great host.

Rustige ligging, en toch overal dichtbij. Op wandelafstand van Kloofstreet en Tafelberg, en binnen de 15’ ben je ongeveer overal in Kaapstad met de taxi!
