Great location for walking into Chester town centre and breakfast was delicious!
Parking was a problem, not easy to get in and out of the spaces ( mostly due to selfish parking!)

The location was 1,5km from the center. Nothing closer to have something to eat. The lounge area is nice. The owners and staff polite and friendly.
The hotel offers only the basic amenities and feels very dated. The room was uncomfortably warm, even with the window left slightly open. The shower's water temperature was difficult to regulate, constantly fluctuating between hot and cold. The bedding and bathroom linens were disappointing. The pillows were old and lumpy, and the towels were heavily worn and clearly overdue for replacement. Breakfast was below expectations. The fried eggs appeared to be of low quality, the smoked salmon was excessively salty, and the "orange juice" tasted like a concentrate rather than fresh juice. Overall, the hotel does not reflect its 8.3 Booking rating and would benefit from significant refurbishment and improvements in both comfort and food quality.
