The room was really good. We had the triple room and it was comfortable for 3 of us. There were some excellent touches, such as chocolates, a mini fridge and fluffy towels. The beds were really comfortable and we all slept very well.
The main disappointment for us was the breakfast. The main woman who was in charge was rude, not only to us, but the other staff members who all looked miserable. There was only a small dining room so we had to wait for 40 minutes to get seated. This meant that nearly all the food had gone. We only got seated at 9.40am, despite arriving at 9am. The remaining food, which was mostly cold, was removed by 9.50am. It was such an awful experience, we went somewhere else for breakfast the following day. If I could score the breakfast alone it would only get one star!

Chester House was lovely and homely, beautifully decorated. Parking was easy, and an easy walk in to Chester. The room was super spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge! with a jet bath and double-sized shower. The tea and coffee supplies were very generous, there was even a room outside the guest lounge where you could make yourself a coffee. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, booking us a taxi in to town.

The only thing I can comment is when we got back to room Saturday evening after being out all day our room was open, can only presume cleaners forgot to lock up

Room was spacious, well furnished and clean. Trudy the receptionist was welcoming and friendly.
Breakfast was very chaotic, not enough tables for guests and a lot of people had to wait for others to finish breakfast. There was also not enough seating for those waiting so a number of people were having to stand for lengthy periods. The breakfast staff were also rude & indifferent to people having to wait, they are obviously used to this. We had to wait for our eggs to be fried and by the time they arrived we had already finished our food.
