Great stay, spotless shower room.

Great parking, exceptionally clean room

Instruction on entry to the self serve breakfast could have been a little better, had to search for plates mugs and cutlery, felt a little disorganised, all in all food was well cooked and plentiful.

Good weekend in Chester - would return.

It is a nice area, good size car park and traditional hotel style. Decent breakfast which is included. The hotel provides clean towels and extras. Happy with the room, decent view.

Hotel staff member seemed annoyed during our check in process - however was pleasant on the check out. Possibly something to do with another staff member making his job harder, not sure. But wasn’t the most welcoming experience.

Lovely comfortable stay

Very nice clean comfortable room with everything you need - snacks, drinks toiletries etc. Lovely building interior too. I would stay again and recommend it to others. Nice newly built dining room at the back and decent buffet breakfast with good service (eggs and hot drinks are done to order).

Coffee could be better but I am fussy about coffee. There are some nice cafes in Hoole if you want a good one though.

Perfect one night stay

The property is beautifully set out. Our room was number 17 and we were pleasantly surprised with how spacious it was. There was everything that we needed in our room. The beds were super comfy, tea and coffee making facilities and some little treats to add that special touch. John, who welcomed us was so friendly and pleasant and he gave us lots of useful information for our stay.

Perfect after a long drive offering comfort and 20 minute walk to a most stunning city.

Yes, at first it felt a little disjointed as we arrived very late. But after checking in we were very pleased. We were given room right at ground level which meant we didn’t need to lift luggage etc.

Beds were super soft, bathroom clean and tidy. My daughter really enjoyed breakfast and politeness of the staff.

Excellent hotel for long or short stays, great location and delicious breakfast 👍🏻

Hotel is very well kept, our room was beautiful with very comfortable mattresses and plenty of pillows. We also were provided a small fridge, kettle (with a choice of teas, coffees and hot chocolates 👍🏻), hair dryer and mini toiletries. It was very cold outside but our room was warm and cosy. Breakfast was very good 😊 Parking available on site which was very convenient. 5min drive from a city centre.

Fabulous find for a restful stay in Chester!

The room was gorgeous. The owner has imagined every single thing that a traveler needs and has made a very well-furnished room. The property appears to have been recently renovated and no expense was spared. The room was well appointed with comfortable duvet and pillows and linens. The bath sheets provided were soft and ample. The snacks and tea service were top shelf. It was a pleasant atmosphere and a very nice hotel. We will definitely return!

nice hotel, good location, but need to understand dietary requirements better.

Failed to meet my dietary requirements, I only booked because I was informed they could cater for me. I asked for Gluten free, Dairy free Vegetarian, Alas no dairy free milk in the room, no GF biscuits on the tea/coffee tray, was offered GF meat sausages at breakfast and had to ask for dairy free milk and gf toast. Shame really as the hotel was lovely.

Room was comfy, fittings felt good quality, parking was good and location was excellent short walk to city.

Overall, the Chester Court Hotel was an enjoyable stay, however was overly expensive

Location was very good, the room was clean and comfortable. On site parking was good. Staff were friendly.

Breakfast was not as good as expected; on the first day the cooked breakfast was cold, with cold plates. The choice of fried or scrambled eggs were made fresh, but took about 10 -12 minutes to arrive. On the second day ( a Sunday) , they had run out of bacon by 9.20am. There was also very little fresh fruit left. The advice given by staff was to get there by 8am. However the breakfast of sausage, tomato and mushrooms was tasty. I feel that the £ 166.00 ( including VAT) per room per night was not good value. A cost of £120.00 per room per night would have been a fairer price.

Location & spacious room.

Breakfast arrangements could have been better. Continental option good, but cooked food wasn't very warm & only cold plates available. Only fried or scrambled eggs available. When asked how id like my eggs, I asked if I could have poached, but was told only fried /scrambled were on offer.

A real gem of a place on the outskirts of the lovely city of Chester

Comfortable, quiet & staff were friendly & welcoming. This was very much a last minute booking on my way home from Manchester airport! Now that I have found this hotel I will be back on future trips to Chester!

Fantastic I could not have asked for anything better a ten out of ten , will stay again. Great.

First class from start to finish , unfortunately I was arriving very late on a Sunday night due too work in Scotland running behind , then I had too travel down too Chester, the lady on reception was ten out of ten , very polite very understanding , helpful, friendly , honestly getting in late on a Sunday night tired , hungry she was brilliant. Again due to work commitments that week I had too leave in the morning before 06.00am not returning until after 9pm most nights , again the No1 Lady on reception , would give me a lovely takeaway , with sandwiches' , crisps , fruit , juice , water , biscuit , cake. Yes I cannot compliment them any higher fantastic, the hotel was beautiful , very clean , very tidy , private parking , Wi-Fi and the room was very , very spacious having everything on hand , tea & coffee making facilities , nice snacks , bottled water , toiletries , beds where very comfortable , room was cleaned , fresh bedding , towels, etc. daily I honestly could not fault this privately owned hotel , well above the main chain hotels , the personnel , private touches very nice so yes its a ten out of ten all day long from me. Thanks.

Lovely little stay over.

The room was small but perfect for what I needed. Lovely onsuite with little shower accessories. Room was clean, tidy and well presented. A microwave, kettle and drinking options available. Breakfast was very good. Good car parking off street. Very close to Chester centre and a good base for Ellesmere Port.

Pillows were quite hard but I do like a soft pillow. You can hear people in the adjoining rooms making coffee etc.

Average stay

The location was great. A twenty minute walk into the city centre and it was fantastic to have off street parking. The staff were all lovely especially the breakfast staff. They were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too.

There was a mix up with our room and we were woken at 10 pm when we were asleep on the first night to be told that we weren’t in their system and that we shouldn’t be in the room. This was sorted and the lady was very apologetic but it wasn’t a great experience. The room was very small (I booked a double room) - too small really for two suitcases. When I was checking in the bedroom just before we were leaving to ensure we hadn’t left anything - I looked under the bed and it was very dirty.
