Wonderful stay!

Loved it all - Location, view, decor, breakfast, staff!

Showerhead leaking (minor detail). The hotel hosts its own bar, but it needs to be more promoted upon check-in. My suggestion is like-welcome drink, guest discount etc.

Good value & covenient place to stay in Bad Gastein.

Great location, a couple of minutes to the station & thermal spa, 10 mins to the village via the waterfall way. Room was spacious & clean, staff were helpful and really accommodating.

The balcony was a little tired, but a lovely view!

The staff was nice Breakfast was very nice The place is very close to the train station and the main bus stops The hotel has a self service room to make coffee or tea and with microwave.

The wifi was not good. I mainly used my mobile network for connectivity. Some managing aspects of the hotel can be improved upon.

Thin walls, much noise from other guests

We choose this hotel on our way down south just to spend the night after a long drive. The hotel has super thin walls and you can hear literally everything. The balcony is shared and beware that most people smoke there/drink there during the night. So if you want to have your windows opeen during the night, you smell the smoke/hear the noises. So we didnt have a good night sleep. I recommend bringing ear plugs with you if you decide for this palce. The amenities are ok, just the shower corner is not a comfortable place, small and you hit your head if you are taller than 165 cm. Breakfats was ok. You also have to pay for the parking and a tourist tax that is EUR 4,50/person. I wouldn´t mind any of that except for the dicomfort during the night because of other guests.

Perfect vacation

Perfect Location in front of railway station, ski lift, near supermarket . Breakfast was amazing ! Friendly and helpful staff. I definitely recommend this hotel !!!!

Charming, older hotel. Very clean, very well run. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms with balconies are especially nice. Views everywhere, though. Patio seating was great. Close to a full-size grocery store (Spar). Clsoe to train station and bus stops. Over all, a very good place to stay and reasonably priced.

Wifi was essentially non-existent. Mentioned this to hotel manger but no improvement was made. Since my stay was business-related, without a wifi connection my colleagues (15) and I had a hard time getting our work done..

I arrived around 10pm and the keys were not left as it was said in the messages, after I called a very nervous and agitated lady came, she told us that we disturbed her at that time, poor as hosts. I do not recommend

Pay attention to room descriptions! This time I was in a room with so-called mountain view - a super tiny, Paris-style rooftop with no space even to, pardon, piss in the toilet. 2 days I waited hot water from the tap - it did not happen.

We had a good stay despite the inconvenience

The property has a pretty central location, the price was good and the breakfast was simple but good, the staff was welcoming and attentive

The room’s balcony door was broken so we heard noise from the streets and it was a bit cold. Receptionist didn’t offer us a different room even that some were free beginning of the week, their reasoning was they can’t get it fixed due to holidays. It felt like earning money no matter the degraded experience

Staff couldn't have been nicer nor more helpful. Very close to train station, supermarket, chemist, sports shops etc. An excellent base for exploring the upper Gastein Valley

A suggestion for improvement might be to add basic tea/coffee facilities to each room.

Swedes at Lindenhof end of January 2023

The owners and the staff were fantastic😇! Very friendly and flexible. No problems with anything, just easy going. The hotel is perfectly situated and the rooms clean and comfortable! Breakfast was good with a rich selection and freshness. The bar was not open every day but we had a really nice time when we came there. Again, the staff that run the bar were really social and fun😀! Thanks for a good stay and hope to see you week 5 2024👍!

The property is incredibly clean and has been recently refurbished. The owners and staff are very accommodating. The location of the property is excellent for the lifts, less than a 5 minute flat walk to the train station and stubnerkogel gondala. Would highly recommend and return.

Very hard to find fault. We had a Premier room and a bath would have been nice, but we were aware on booking this wasn't an option offered for this room. Perfect otherwise.

The breakfast was good. The view was stunning. I liked the wooden interior.

The balcony was shared with other guests! This was very awkward when I realized my neighbor was on the balcony in front of my bedroom door! The stairs are pretty crazy. There is no AC.

Lovely stay with a great location in Bad Gastein. We arrived by train, and it was a 5 min walk from the railway station. Also the lifts were only a short walk away as well as a big grocery store (Spar). The staff was helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was diverse and tasty and you could have a coffee of your choice. Really enjoyed the balcony of our room, nice views. Would stay here again when visiting Bad Gastein!

Short but easy and enjoyable visit

Location was perfect. Lifts, food store, restaurants, village centre, spa - all near by. And railway station, even if we did’nt need it. Good tips from friendly staff. Rather quiet even if near street and railway.
