Would stay here again but in a higher level room.

Personnel were outstanding.

Our room was street level off the main check in area. It had an unpleasant smell and was very small. There was very little privacy if we opened our curtains.

We had a fabulous 7 night stay at Cloud 9. Upon check in we received a room upgrade, the room was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast each day was tasty and great choices. Staff were friendly and courteous. The Location was great, bar and restaurants on the door step.

Very good hotel with excellent staff and location

The staff were amazing and the location is excellent. The room was a good size and very clean. There are some noisy pubs nearby and late at night there was a good deal of noise. It was disappointing that there was no gym or no deal which you have with a local gym with special rates for your guests.

An arrangement with a gym for your guests. Not sure if you can do anything about the noisy pubs nearby.

Beautiful modern property in a great location and amazing staff.

Great location in a nice neighbourhood with bars and restaurants nearby. Really beautiful property with a pool deck and amazing rooftop restaurant with 360* views of the mountains. Really lovely friendly staff and top class food also. Highly recommend!

The location of this boutique hotel was key!! Had I known how central it was I wouldn’t have bothered renting a car.

My only shortfall on the property would have been staying in room 8. I found it quite noisy when windy and really hot despite there being an air con but I managed to move. Still a beautiful and comfortable room nonetheless.

A lovely stay

The property was really beautiful, the grounds were well kept and the rooftop restaurant was stunning. The staff were really friendly and accommodating - we had a super early check in which was not a problem for them at all.

Great location downtown

Good location downtown

I first had a room that faced an outside wall at 1m so the room was basically dark 24h a day. I asked the reception to change the room but the hotel was fully booked because of the marathon. I did change to another room for the 2nd night though. Next time I will make sure to book a room at least on the 2nd floor to avoid getting a dark room.. Staff did all it took and more to find me a room that met my expectations…thanks again. The website should however mention that the room is a dark room to avoid disappointment amongst guests.

One of the best places to stay in Cape Town

We got a free room upgrade to celebrate our anniversary! It is the most affordable place to stay, given its excellent location. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Our favourite thing is the sauna, which you can book for a specific time at no extra charge. Staff were exceptionally hospitable and friendly.

It was very stylish, beautiful views of table mountain from the restaurant, we were upgraded so had a lovely large room and huge bathroom, the staff could not have been more helpful, in all areas of the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding with a huge choice and at an amazingly reasonable price. We could not find any faults, in fact it exceeded all our expectations. We arrived so tired from the airport, for only one night, and yet were treated like guests about to stay for the week.

Overall, a wonderful stay - wish it hadn't been so short!

Wonderful, comfortable room and bed. I loved the decor and the furnishings. The mattress was firm (but not too firm) and the pillows were lovely and big. I also liked that they were very generous with providing several bottles of drinking water and plenty of tea/coffee & milk. I loved the huge rainfall-style shower as well!

My only (small) issue was that the shower door wasn't properly sealed, so the floor in the bathroom was quite wet afterwards and I had to use towels to mop up the water. But this is an easy problem for the hotel to fix.

A luxurious oasis retreat in the bustling heart of Cape Town.

We had the eggs Benedict for breakfast. We asked for our eggs medium & they were perfectly done. The location is very central - at the heart of Cape Town so a 2 minute drive from both Table Mountain and the bustling city center and it’s amazing choice of restaurants. Despite this our rooms were so quiet and the whole hotel is so peaceful and tranquil: a little oasis in the hub of town.

There was absolutely nothing we could fault about our stay other than we wish we could’ve stayed for more than one night and we wished we’d spent more time in our beautiful rooms while booked in!
