Lovely hotel in CBD

Our room was very large and clean.

The pool area was disappointing and there was no outdoor furniture on the large balcony.

The room was odd in that you could not turn on the bathroom light in the bathroom , it was a switch by the bed. Also there really was no place to hang towels by the bathroom sink.

Modern, fun and just what I needed after a busy day exploring

Excellent room, spacious, bright, good view, clean, modern, comfy. I didn't eat any breakfast, but the room service was delicious, very fairly priced and enjoyable. The spa is a great touch, as is the Club Lounge.

Very noisy from the club below, hard to sleep even in floor 11

Very nice breakfast —10/10. Very nice sauna. There is a spa and very nice gym though we did not use either. Very nice rooms. Very nice view of table mountain. Mini fridges in the room were nice.

Very loud, making it hard to sleep. Even on a Sunday night, the club across the street was pounding until the wee hours of the morning. And we were on the 11th floor but it was still very noisy. Pool does not get sunlight after about 3pm due to being on an east facing deck. Would have been nice if both the pool and sauna were open later than 9p, perhaps till 10. Parking is 150 Rand PER CALENDAR DAY. Also they started doing maintenance on the room adjacent to ours at 7:55 am, waking me up.

Wonderful staff, so helpful and friendly. Lovely food too.

It was loud in the room at night from music playing from one of the bars opposite the hotel. Minor things like kettle in room not working. This was rectified quickly once reported. Extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom.

Overall great stay and would definitely stay again.

The room suite was spacious. The balcony overlooking Table Mountain is nice, but there is no furniture at all on the balcony. Very walkable to Long Street night life. Breakfast buffet was great with lots of options and the 24/7 room service was very good. All staff were VERY friendly and helpful.

Too many mosquitos everywhere in the hotel restaurant, lobby and occasionally in the room.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff

Very nice hotel and very friendly staff. The berakfast was good and we had our dinner there as well and it was also very delicious. The room was very big and the location of hotel is very good. We walked to the waterfront from there.

Be careful stay at this hotel!!!

strongly advise against staying at this hotel for business purposes. Overall, the room and breakfast were very good, but that’s where the hotel’s charm ended. Upon check-in, I was asked to pay a deposit of 2,500 ZAR. The staff did not pre-authorize the amount—they charged my card outright. At check-out, the amount was not refunded, and I was informed it would take 3–7 days. Despite multiple attempts to clarify the situation with the hotel and repeated promises, the money has still not been returned to my card. Another issue was the invoice. The hotel only issued it after an intervention from Booking.com, who had to cite contract clauses to make it happen. For these reasons, I do not recommend this hotel. I feel that my credit card was charged improperly and without justification.

Beautiful hotel. Perfect for those who like to be in the heart of things. All the staff were fantastic. We had a deluxe apartment and it was superb. Lovely breakfast. Spacious bar area. Relaxing rooftop pool. Highly recommend.

You are best getting Ubers everywhere for safety purposes, however this is the same in all of Africa and Ubers are very cheap and the drivers are used to short journeys so we never had to wait long.

It was really good.

Room was clean, spacious and organized. Breakfast was also decent and the hotel location has a magnificient view for table moutain. Staff made you fell confortable and at home. Every unpredictable event was met with professionalism and care!

For a family room, it should have more amenities, like cutlery, table and chairs... Other than that, it was just amazing!

Excellent. We enjoyed every bit of it.

The property is located in a great location in the city close to several attractions. They had a complimentary shuttle taking/picking people to/from the V&A waterfront and once a day to camps bay and return later in the day. The breakfast is excellent so is the food from the restaurant. The staff are very professional and friendly. They provided parking and Valet service which was an added plus. The view from our room of the table mountain is spectacular. The gym is adequate and very clean. I was able to fit in a couple of workouts during our trip. We had a great time and the hotel is highly recommended. We will be back!!!

Sometimes only one elevator would work but this was not a major problem, just a short wait and squeeze in one elevator.

Lifetime and memorable

Breakfast world class, well organised and delicious. The staff is helpful and friendly. The chaffer Siphosethu makes every trip to the V&A so smooth and so caring 5-star diner so delicious and delicious Room size and everything I requested was delivered.

CONSTRUCTION in front of your windows.

The bed and bathroom were good, large smart tv, stable wifi. Breakfast was good.

CONSTRUCTION is just in front of your window. If you dont mind waking up with a loud noise, then the hotel is fine. The pool is cold , you won't be able to swim. I was told it's cold all year around. So it's just for ppl who want to jump in extremely cold water after sauna. Some receptionist Tiana or smth like that was disrespectful and arrogant, not professional, as if I was visiting her house.

Excellent 5-star hotel in the Cape Town CBD

Good location in Cape Town CBD, easy to get to the Waterfront, Century City, CTICC and good restaurants. The one bedroom suite is spacious with a large round table, great for work. The bed linen is replaced daily, ensuring cleanliness. Excellent wifi speed at 100 Mbps. The buffet breakfast and cappuccino are excellent. The 8th floor gym and swimming pool has a good view of the Table Mountain.

The lifts serving the high floors were regularly out of service - a couple of times, I resorted to walking up and down from the 17th floor - good exercise

Restaurant and stuff are so helpful and friendly

Bathrobes looks dirty with stains. The smell of bathrobes wasn’t good at all. The room on booking.com have bathtub 🛀 but I checked in a room without bathtub. View of my room was very bad with contractions

A great place to stay in Cape Town.

Room was comfortable with special touch of complementary champagne & rose petals for our anniversary. Staff were excellent especially helping to sort out rebooking our cancelled flight home. The integral spa & gym were great as was Ruby’s bakery, especially the large croissants. Great choice of hot & cold buffet breakfast also with a le carte choices inclusive in the room rate. The complimentary shuttle bus to the waterfront was also a great service.

The choice of evening meal that was included within the room rate was very limited with reluctance to offer anything off of other menus.
