location is good in the sense its in the CBD Room is nicely furnished

When I got to the address no one knew about the booking at the door to the apartments as I was not sent instructions by the host of which room and where the key was located, It was fairly quickly resolved but letting guests know how the booking in system is supposed to work would be good. The room is nice but the noise from the next door nightclub is terrible and goes on from 8 at night till 6 in the mornig. If you want open the window to let in some cool air as it was quite hot the noise is even louder So getting a good nights sleep was very difficult.

For the host to first make sure the apartment is clean before guests arrive. We had to wait for the room to be cleaned.

The place was advertised as a 2 bedroom unit, only to find a bachelor unit. The manager of the unit didn't even bother assisting me with mere answer, they just didn't respond to my messages. I feel like I wasted my money here

Hi, I would like to request a full refund for this entire booking for a few major issues with the listing, that led to us having to book another accommodation and move out after one night (we arrived late and had no choice but to stay on our first night) 1. False information on listing: No air conditioner as listed, not as many beds/rooms as listed 2. Shower, sink, and toilet bowl started clogging overnight to the point that the shower area started flooding with disgustingly yellow liquid. As we were concerned about the whole room getting flooded, we packed up and requested help from the building security to store our luggage at the reception while we looked for other accommodation. 2. No response from owners: In the check-in instructions, two numbers were listed as being available on Whatsapp. Both numbers do not exist on Whatsapp, and when we asked the building security to help us try calling (our esims do not include international calls), one number does not exist at all while the other went to voicemail. Through the day, the helpful building security left a voice message and continued to help us call but there’s no response till now. Meanwhile, we also left messages about the situation on the booking.com chat. No reply. I am able to prove all of this with images, videos and screenshots of our conversation with the building’s security as well as timestamps proving the complete negligence of the property owner. The only silver lining was the incredibly helpful building security Peter and Joshua who went out of their way to keep trying to contact the unit owners who have still not responded for over 24 hours already (as of this complaint). We have done all our due diligence and would like to request for a full refund, as well as compensation for all the additional transport fees required as well as inconvenience. Appreciate your prompt reply please. In response to the property’s reply: Look at the images for proof yourself?

Good location if you want to explore the city bowl. The place was clean and roomy.

No corkscrew, bread board, tin opener, bread/meat knives. There is no air conditioning, and the small fan is not really doing the job. A bigger TV would also have been nice. If you open the windows at night, the noise from the clubs in Long Street will keep you awake.
