    It’s my go to place. It was the best to be. They provided breakfast for me for my Cape Town Marathon.

    I was pleasantly surprised by Neighbourgood East City as there were many conflicting reviews so I was not sure what to expect. The location is city centre and we felt safe and welcome, the rooms were very spacious including king sized beds, a nice working desk and big bathroom. There were minor issues but none worth mentioning, the positives far outweighed these. Sometimes can be a bit noisy compared to more upmarket hotels but I feel it was really good value for money. We only did bed and breakfast however did check out the communal kitchen and entertainment / lounge areas and blown away by what a great idea it actually is. Stovetops and ovens enough for 8 x people to do separate cooking at once, dishwashers and wash basins, multiple fridges and storage units you can lock and even a massive walk in freezer with lockable cages where you can safely story your cold shopping items. The breakfast in the restaurant on the ground floor was also very enjoyable. Thank you for a great stay, would be ideal for people travelling in groups of friends / family to do the communal cooking etc.

    Nice hotel with clean rooms. Great coffee with nice breakfast. Could do with off-street parking.
