Would Not stay Here again

Well Not that much. It was good Walking distance to V&A

- worst equipped kitchen i ever saw in an hostel ( we were a family of 4 but there were No more than two bowls or two small spoons...self Made breakfast not that comfortable) - kitchen was Not Well cleaned. Guests just left their dirty dishes) - window in the room was always Open, could Not ne closed. Because of the big street the traffic was to loud. Killed the sleep

Everything was exceptionally good I mostly loved how all the stuff members were so helpful 🥺❤ Especially Gordon and Lee Such amazing people I'm definitely coming back here again.

There is nothing that I didn't love but the iron board needs to be changed since the other one is so old and broken. My stay was perfect and cosy.

Very noisy as on the main road. The bathroom in the dorm I stayed in needs updating. The door had no lock.

There were blood stains on my bed curtains, the bathroom was dirty, only one bathroom for six people, no other bathrooms available, not a good location at night, please put a bell (or a sign where it is) on the front door, outdated hostel

Nice location and staff, beds have curtains for some privacy in the dorms.

Common space and kitchen is too small for the amount of people there, the fridges are super full. Bathroom/toilet are inside each dorm. Noise isolation is poor

A lovely Guesthouse...

The garden, The Muse and the Tranquility. A lovely guest house.

The kitchen. Not everyone cleaned up after themselves and the clothes should be cleaned and replaced daily. No television and Wi-Fi was average. Sometimes no reception.

Amazing location. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly

Overall, I had a pleasant stay, and the positives far outweighed the few minor issues.

The room and location were both great – the space was comfortable, and the location was very convenient for exploring the area. I really appreciated that my previous feedback was taken into consideration, and it showed in the overall quality of the stay. Additionally, the previous owner was kind enough to ensure that a can/tin opener was placed among the kitchen utensils, which was a thoughtful touch.

I wasn’t happy with the cleanliness of some of the dishes, as they appeared to have residue left on them. This could be improved for a better overall experience.

Short stay

Nice quiet space with privacy curtains around super large beds. In a great location and easy to walk to all the main attractions in Cape Town. I liked a front reception area open 24/7 and i also liked the nice garden area and coffee shop with secure gates. Very nice, hard working staff.

Eight day stay

Lots of space in the bedrom with each bed having a privacy curtain, large mattress and locker for valuables. Free tea, coffee and usual kitchen facilities. The hostel is in a great location and close to V&A Waterfront and Green Point Park. I loved the garden and coffee shop. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I would definitely stay again but this time in a private room!

The location was perfect, close to city center by bus or uber. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants as well. The guys at the reception were really helpful in anything we needed. Lee was super kind and helpful she even lended her bus cards to us, and helped about transportation or giving us directions. Everyone so smiley and kind greetinf everday when they see us.

Bathroom was small and i wish there was enough place for a desk to put our mini bags when we perform face cleaning routines etc. And i saw a bug on the toilet floor but i guess the weather so warm and maybe bugs find holes to come out i dont know cuz the cleaning lady was cleaning everyday.

A Great Place for Solo travelers.

I liked their comfortable bunk beds with lights on top and curtains. It's great for privacy as well and the small table as well loved it. I'll definitely book again with them.

One shower for six people dorms where you have to wait in line for a number 1 and 2. I hope they can get more showers and to eliminate athletes feet as well on the shower floor.

Very dirty I didn’t even sleep there, all rooms you had to sleep with different people, you don’t even know. I book for family room but they had to mix you with other people it is not normal

I needed a place close to work with a good, curtained bunkbed and cooking area. MOY came through.

The beds were extremely comfortable and warm, with a wonderfully sized shelf for small personal belongings. The staff were kind, and kept my bags for me on my check out day until I could come back and collect them.

The kitchen counters were a bit too high, which didn't make me want to cook at all. The name on the recycle bin was also chipped, which meant that people mistook it for a rubbish bin and would throw their food waste in it.

That they checked in a guest without her identification and she was sexually harassing me so moy guesthouse is not safe they allow anyone without identification,they don’t care about the safety of their guests poor service.

The staff were friendly and it was in a good location

The cleanliness and hygiene was lacking. Mattresses and pillows were very worn out. There was toothpaste on the walls, bathrooms were very rarely cleaned and when they were they were merely wiped without using products. Cockroaches in the kitchen, kitchen itself was very dirty. Old food in the fridges, seating was always dirty. For the price, it really missed the mark

The receptionist are scammers . I booked online but I arrived they asked for extra money . When you ask for a manager they go hide by the corner and tell you the manager said you are required to pay more for the room the app prices are not correct they say .

Loved it

The place was really good. The staff very friendly especially the two ladies at reception. She even helped me carry my bag upstairs on my arrival. Walkable distance to the V&A Waterfront and city centre. Safe and secure. The Wi-Fi was also good. Got to experience both the ground floor and 1st floor as they had to renovate the room upstairs. A bit of noise on the ground as you can hear people talking from the kitchen. I was s meant to move to another accommodation but ended up extending my stay here and upgrading to a private room. Upstairs was much more quieter, just what I needed. The room was very spacious with coffee provided. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the room has plenty of lighting coming through. A wardrobe, safe, sitting area and a desk.

The bathroom has a bit of smell that needs to be looked at. No lift just stairs - so be prepared to climb the stairs. I was ready as I had read the reviews.

Amazing stay

I really liked the environment and the staff was very friendly. They were also very accommodating when I had to extend my stay, they were very understanding and patience through my entire stay.

The cleaners are very efficient and like to stay on schedule however this means they are willing to interrupt your shower if you happen to be in there when they need to clean.

Great quality/price!

The location of the guesthouse is perfect. The room was wide and clean.

Unfortunately I ended up in a bedroom which is outside the main door, and I would have preferred to know it in advance. I felt safe, but the room can be accessed from the courtyard, and the gate was broken, so not the best. Moreover, it was a bit noisy as people were keeping their music on up until late at night in the courtyard. I would have preferred to stay inside the main building.
