Pleasant comfortable stay

The staff and people there were friendly helpful and accommodating,there is a kitchen and washing,ironing facilities ,fairly decent showers.lovely spots to chill around .

The place needs serious fumigation especially beds and kitchen ,there are cockroaches everywhere,oven needs serious maintenance and cleaning,and fragrances left there permanently to make it smell fresh and clean at all times since many people use the kitchen,they need to be more strict on who can come through the doors and drugs should be prohibited 🚫 as it causes alot of unnecessary stress,stealing and added issues ,if the standard is improved I’d go there alot more as the staff and people are good to cohabitate with apart from a few ,it’s a good atmosphere and pleasant place to stay .

Value for money

BBB is close to shops, the Cape Town Stadium and the V&A Waterfront. We walked to watched the rugby game which was so convenient and fun. Value for money.

The place has potential as it s in a very great spot. It just need deep cleaning and new cleaners.

Location Friendly welome from the owners Blonde white guy, oldish white guy and coloured lady. Clean pool, though we didnt use because of the outside smell Size of the room, wish toilet and shower in the room was clean, maybe they need to be revamped like down stairs shower.

Untidiness when you enter the premises Smell i am not sure if its the dog or just dirt Cocroaches in the kitchen and fridges where people keep their food not clean. Fact that they dont clean daily we had to clean ourselves Bedding not ironed

Location was nice and Staff very nice also but as we got there we were told it is dormitories we will not be sleeping in the same room then we have to cancel and went back home

For one night.

The location, the possibility of doing laundry, having a clothesline to dry clothes, and the fact that it's a 300-year-old building, according to the friendly woman who assisted me.

On my last night at the hostel, I woke up at 1:00 am with a giant cockroach in my bed. I jumped out of the top bunk, and the day before, I also saw a very large rat walking calmly near the kitchen.

it was horrible and disgusting experience

There's nothing i liked during my stay.

The smell in the bedroom was horrible. The bed was not clean it caused itching on my body. the bunk bed was not user friendly, it didn't have a ladder so i struggled to get up towards the bed. The blankets quality was not good they looked like prison blankets. The level of hygiene was devastating and disgusting.

The receptionist. Short lady with glasses, very warm personality.

The dirty stray dogs that walked and laid around the hostel. They would also wait for us guests to feed them, which was so uncomfortable. The cleanliness of the place overall.

Not recommended. The facility has numerous problems: windows and dorm beds are either old, dirty or broken. Walls are paper-thin - you can hear everything from other rooms and downstairs, including loud conversations and barking dogs. Several rude and agressive residents are to be expected. The manager, who sleeps on the couch with his dogs, yells constantly and gives off sketchy vibes, consistently takes their side. Overall unprofessional atmosphere. It's a hit or miss, but mostly miss.

A nice place in green point.

The place is very grand feeling as it's in an old colonial house. It was well situated for me and the things I wanted to do. I would walk to v&a for supper and there's a grocery store around the corner. A bit of a walk to downtown and Bo Kaap but it was doable.

I booked a 6 person down but was put I to a 10 person dorm.i don't think they actually do have 6 person dorms. The beds and floors are squeaky so it can be a bit noisy. The doors have these push locks on them that never seem to work so we always kept our room door unlocked at night to minimize the fiddling which would wake people up. The beds didn't have curtains or a light.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. The receptionist kindly accomadated me with a bottom bunk as I had an injury to my leg. The other receptionist explained everything clearly and was patient and helpful. I was grateful to how nice everyone was to me from the cleaners, receptionists and the guests.

The bedbugs in my bed. They gave me new sheets, which also had bed bugs in. When I got home last week I felt the bed bugs for a whole week until now walking over me. I asked for a new bed but they were also infected.

1.Clean bathrooms.2.I could use the PC to complete my assignments.Its a good place, better than a few that I've been to around. I WILL MOST DEFINITELY CALL AGAIN.

While I was doing my assignment, the male receptionist came n switched off the lights with no warning nothing,i had to use my phone to finish as i was down stair for PC.Also I am scared of dogs and there were 2 walking loose so I was jumpy the whole time.

The location is in the perfect area, The bed was comfortable they must put in a table in order to put in small things like laptop and the kitchen was spacious to store our groceries and also put food at a spacious refrigerator, enough stoves and pots supplied.

The place is really wonderful. I liked: •Rooms - are very nice with comfortable beds. •Bathroom - is very clean, has hot water •Area - very quiet, I could sleep whenever I want without any problems. Also the area is safe and it is very near to the bus station, to various restaurants and quite near to the Watefront shopping centre. •Staff - very friendly •Internet - fast
