I loved exploring Cape Town and only used my room in the evenings.

I liked being able to walk to the Waterfront in 15 minutes. It was great to have Woolworth and a Delicatessant nearby. My bed was very comfortable. Deon kindly changed my pick up point for the Intercape bus.

The decor in the whole guesthouse was tired and shabby. Deon had a very laid back approach to welcoming guests. I had to ask how to put the bedside light on, how to use the kettle and how to open the safe which was locked.

Great location near the V&A waterfront. The room was clean and spacious, nothing fancy but great value for money.

Limited on street parking so its a bit of a lottery if you get something or not but that is common for the area

Nice guesthouse near V&Awaterfront. Quiet location, away from the huzzle and buzzle of the waterfront. Spacious doubleroom, clean bathroom. Comfy bed

Room ( end dec) was warm. No aircon and we had a fan but that did not do much.

Perfect location in the heart of Green Point

Deon is an amazing host. We always enjoy our stay at House on the Hill. The room we stayed in was very clean. The beds are very comfortable to sleep in. The location couldn't be more perfect. You are within walking distance of Sea Point, Mouille Point, the V & A Waterfront and a variety of restaurants.

There was really nothing that we didn't like. Everything was perfect.

You get what you pay for. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It is a basic place to stay that is within walking distance of the V&A Waterfront. If you you just need an affordable room to sleep and you are not fussy, this is the place to stay.

Convenient, cozy, affordable and accommodating!

Perfect location,within walking distance to the waterfront and great restaurants on Main Road. The room was spotless and the electric blanket made my stay very cozy. Amazing staff/owner, I left my electric toothbrush in the room after I checked out and they were very accommodating with getting it back to me. I highly recommend House on the hill!

Host most gracious.

Darin our host was beyond wonderful. He went overboard even paid our cab to the cruise port. That's a difficult story best left unsaid. Suffice to say Darin was our savior.

The location was perfect for our purpose - close to Arts Cape Theatre, the Waterfront and visa application office. The room was comfortable despite the bathroom being really compact. It took us back to our student days 😄

THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL STAY

The property was truly great for our group of 7 (3 adults and 4 kids). The beds in the rooms were comfortable and even though small we all enjoyed warm showers everyday. The bonus of the location is that it is walking distance to The V&A Waterfront, which was excellent for the kids as well as Sea Point. Deon, our host was great and very patient when asked questions.

Excellent location for attending events at Cape Town V&A Waterfront and CTICC. Friendly staff, reasonable price, back yard smoking patio, could even bring my pet to visit me on the last day of my stay!

Superb

The location was perfect, loved that it was in a very quiet street. It allowed us to walk to the V&A Waterfront, with lots of places to eat nearby. For a stay in the city, this was perfect place.

We would love a hand railing to the top of the stairs when to go down to the kitchen.

The whole property smelled of cat urine. It was difficult to eat on the premises unless you locked in your bedroom because of the smell. The maid wasn’t very efficient and put dirty towels from bathroom on the clean towel rack wet
