An excellent small and completely charming hotel in a fabulous location

The hosts were incredibly helpful and delightful people. The room was gorgeous, the environment fantastic and overall it was an excellent small hotel experience. We have travelled extensively and stayed at some very lovely five star resorts; this small family run boutique is one of the nicest experiences we’ve had.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout. The hotel is attractive, and very well placed if you are driving down through France or wish to visit the vineyards or Beaune. Breakfast was delicious. A real treat throughout.

Everything! This hotel is exceptional and rather special. First of all the service is totally personal and very hands on. I loved the way Helene and her father made us feel very welcome the minute we set foot inside. I also liked how Helene instantly suggested excellent restaurants and made us the reservations hassle free. I also liked the time they took to chat to us and to get to know us better during our whole stay! No expense has been spared in this charming hotel, one can see this from the attention to detail that has been paid in the decor and the general layout of the building. They also have a great snacking menu which goes down excellently on the terrace with a glass of wine or two. The location is also amazing - right infront of the hotel there is a large vineyard - therefore the minute you arrive right after entering the gates, you are instantly transported into the Burgundian way of life - not much more is necessary! It is also strategically placed between Beaune, Mersault and other interesting wine villages/towns in Burgundy. The breakfast is also good and includes continental and cooked - we loved it - especially if afterwards you are doing wine tasting - it is good not to go on an empty stomach :-).

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It was so comfortable, well decorated and the staff were amazing. The owners were there to welcome us and they made our honeymoon amazing. If I ever go back to Beanue, I would only stay here.

great location, very quiet and relaxing, lovely small pool

pool closed very early (7pm in summer when it’s still sunny and 32 degrees outside) and didn’t reopen until 12noon the next day, staff were very unhappy when we asked for a knife, plate and two wine glasses so we could eat some snacks in our room, they seemed more friendly the next morning though. no fridge in room.

Breakfast was very tasty and with generous quantities. The hotel is beautiful, great staff, great location.

The bed wasn’t soft enough in my opinion, but that’s personal preference. The dinner was good but I expected it to be tastier and a bit more creative (had the vegetarian option - risotto).

Nice rooms but many poor details.

Nice location and rooms.

This is not a friendly place you want to go back to. They say "children of all ages are welcome" but they do not act like that. 15 euros for parking the car and 22 euros (15 for a child) for an ordinary breakfast is expensive. In my room a shirt hung in the closet of a previous guest and the bed was sloppily made. The promised "view over the vinyards" turned out to be a glimpse of vine bushes from one of the windows. The pool is not heated and was at the time very cold.

Perfectly charming!

Charming small property on lovely vineyards and gardens; in the small vintners village of Pommard. Walking distance from several wineries and tasting rooms. Kind and responsive staff fulfilled every request with a smile. We loved the excellent dinner and though we skipped breakfast they made us cappuccinos and croissants before departure

Perfect stay in a wonderful location. The owners were charming and went so far out of their way to help us when we found out that we had left our passports in the previous hotel. The home cooked food was delicious with excellent service
