The location is excellent. It was walkable to everything and had nearby parking. The living room, dining room area was large and comfortable for us, two couples.

There are 2 full bedrooms & baths that are back to back to each other but only one has access to go directly to the rest of the apt. - the kitchen & living rm.area. The entrance to the apt. is the first bdrm. The people in that bdrm. must go through the second bdrm. to get to the living area, or go OUT of their room to an EXTERIOR hallway to open a door into the living rm. area. The exterior hallway has access to Apts. on an upper floor & from the first floor. We were not comfortable leaving the living rm. access door unlocked all night so I unlocked the door early in the am. It might be OK for a family but has drawbacks for couples. It should be noted in the apt.description, we would not have booked it. Another lock/key for the people in the 1st bdrm to have direct access into the apt. without going through the second bedroom would work, giving both couples privacy and access. Again, this should be explained before arrival. The description is misleading.

A place we want to come visit again!

Great location. So many cute restaurants, bars and shops within 10 minutes walk distance. The apartment was very well-equipped that made us feel like at home. The host was very responsive and very friendly and helpful. Beaune is such a charming little town and we definitely want to come back again for longer stay.

Outstanding location and very clean and comfortable penthouse apartment.

Very much enjoyed the Penthouse Apartment - two married couples - rooms are spacious and bathrooms were very clean, loved the added space of the living/dining area and kitchen. Andrea was very welcoming and provided us with plenty of Nespresso coffee pods! Would highly recommend and definitely would stay again if we are ever able to visit the area again. Outstanding location and free parking lot nearby (free street parking 7pm-9am).

Quirky but charming.

La Maison de Maurice is a quirky place, but full of charm. It's incredibly well located in the heart of Beaune providing walking access to all locations within the ramparts. The optional breakfast option provided more than enough, and everything was superb quality.

Quirky place in central Beaune

Quirky place above a wineshop in central Beaune. Space out front to offload luggage, but parking 5 minute walk. A/C worked well, very needed in the summer! Host was very friendly and helpful.

Beds were a bit on the hard side for us. Be aware that on Saturday mornings the market closes off many streets around the flat.

Great location & very comfortable for the most part!

We stayed in the suite this time. It was very spacious and well designed. The air conditioning was very nice for the summer. The water pressure and hot water in the shower were very good. Towels were very high quality. Water in the mini fridge was a nice touch.

The mattress is a little thin, and I could feel the springs at times.

An oasis for the family

Large space and room for the whole family comfortably. It was located within walking distance of everything. The bedrooms were wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful.

Centrally located and close to secure parking. We had a lovely welcome and good communication. This is more like a great Airbnb than an impersonal hotel.

Great location overnight stop

Room was very clean and well kitted out with Towels and amenities its in an exceptionally convenient location to the town and a free car park just less than 5 minutes walk The manageress was very friendly and polite did speak a little English

The only negative is the bathroom is on the mezzanine its very small under the Eaves and open so a lack of privacy The toilet is on the lower floor and opens out into the living/ kitchen area however its not put us off staying there the last few times

A perfect little haven in a beautiful city.

The apartment was beautiful. It was spotlessly clean, and had excellent facilities. Our host was wonderful - friendly, thoughtful and very helpful.

The lights on the water heater ought to be covered up as they shine very brightly once the wonderful blinds have been closed. If available, we would recommend a larger apartment for more than 2 people (which the host did point out) but we took the one available. However, it was absolutely fine for 4people for 1 night.

Superb

Stayed in duplex apartment on way back from Alps. Beaune is a beautiful town, and accommodation is in great central location. Comfortable size for 2 adults & 2 children. Kitchenette allows food preparation , host provided coffee/water, etc. Found a nice bakery for breakfast 3 min walk away. Apartment in charming old building that has been tastefully modernised, there were some low exposed beams which added to the charm, but tall people beware. Very clean.

A beautiful stay in a beautiful Maison!

2 bedroom 2 bathroom kitchen and huge living room with a large TV. All furniture was super comfortable and in great condition. This is an apartment and it terrific. All renovated in high quality way. Staff is charming and kind and fun and welcoming. Bravo. The location right in the middle of it all in this beautiful and unique town.

The 2 bedrooms are separated by a wall and the headboards are against the same wall. Noise could be an issue.
