Cosy, calm and friendly stay at the Novotel beaune

Everything is tidy clean neat and a perfect stop for our family.

Possibly the bacon at breakfast could be improved with some additional items to accompany the cooked selection

Great hotel if passing through and dog friendly too - nice welcoming friendly staff

Very convenient location en route to Italy, just wish it was walking distance to town, otherwise excellent - comfy beds, good breakfast, friendly staff, dog friendly and higher standard that basic Ibis. Loved having a decent size room and a bath as well as a shower was the deal breaker for me! we made use of the bar before taking a taxi out to dinner and were very happy with the hotel and would use it again.

Just wish was walking distance to town (30 mins not possible at night)

Although there was a kettle in the room there were no ordinary teabags(only herbal ones) and no milk so could only have black coffee.

Great hotel for a stopover on the way to south of france

Location was great for getting into Beaune. Easy off the motorway too. Pool was a bonus and a lovely temperature as well arrived and it was pretty hot. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was great with Rituals shower gels etc.

Too few towels in bathroom for a family room. The room was ok in size but I have stayed in bigger family rooms in other Novotel hotels.

Comfortable and reliable

We loved our stop over here. It was our second time. The staff were very polite and the food was delicious. Our room was spacious and the beds very comfortable.

Unfortunately the temperature of the room was not as cool as we like. Even though in theory you could change the settings via a box in the room the overriding hotel setting meant that we were very hot during the night. The price this visit was double what we paid last year. I assumed that the reason was that we were in a higher season, however I did a price comparison for the week after our stay and was offered a price closer to last years price. So I will be more attentive when booking again.

Perfect location close to the highway.

Perfect location half way, when driving from the Netherlands to the South of France. Close to the highway exit, close to the lovely town of Beaune.

Convenient and comfortable with an exceptional member of staff who helped us with a car issue.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean and the location is very convenient as a stop off on the way to the French Alps. The reason I’ve given an exceptional rating is because we got a puncture just before arrival on the Saturday evening - our European breakdown cover told us we would not be able to get the tyre changed until Monday as all garages would be closed. This would mean missing a day of our skiing holiday. However Naomi on reception came to our rescue on Sunday morning. We googled every garage within driving range of our temporary tyre until we found one open (Vapo Pneus, south of Beaune) Naomi helped us make the calls as our French is very limited! It felt like a miracle to be on the road again by midday on Sunday and we are so grateful to Naomi for all her kindness and help, she went above and beyond and saved our very special holiday with our extended family.

We enjoyed the night at this hotel which is well situated just off the motorway.

Room was spacious and clean, bed was very comfortable. Fridge worked and coffee facilities were available. Evening meal was superb. Lovely park situated just behind hotel great for walking our dog.

A bad atmosfære. You couldnt book a table at the restaurant (only the french people) The Walther even laughed of the non french costumers. Really absurd. The breakfast was one big kaos. Like beeing on a Cruise. Way to many People! "Easy" check out but not easy at all. Nothing said in the morning but then they callede next day because of 10euro missing to get payed, fair enough but cant be made by a banktransfer....

Almost perfect as usual.

Nice location, super friendly and competent staff. They now have key cards made out of bamboo instead of plastic. They use reusable bottles instead of plastic. They are super responsive via email if you any issues with the invoice for instance.

In general it was pretty perfect. For us it would’ve been perfect if they had a “real” charging station for EVs. The one they got right now is so so, but it works alt least with overnight charge.
