Fabulous experience

Estelle went out of her way to offer assistance to everyone staying at Les Clos Saint-Marguerite. She has a list of great restaurant options. Estelle is lovely. The breakfast is delicious. We enjoyed meeting and chatting with other guests. The room was very large and quiet. We definitely recommend and would stay again in the future.

Medeval town house with a superb service experience

Great location, quiet and huge rooms, attention to detail in everything, elegant and quality interior and amenities. Good breakfast, fresh servings, homely atmosphere, and especially attentive service in recommendind and booking top notch restaurants and wineyard visits.

Hard to put a thumb on anything. Morning coffee was a nice dark brew, but no hot milk with it available.

Charming and cozy gem in the heart of the city!

This place is a true gem hidden in Beaune. You open the entrance, and it’s like you are transported to a magical retreat. Arnaud was so kind and helpful during our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. The room was extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed for our stay to be very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with many fresh and delicious options. Parking was very easy right outside on the street (Arnaud was very helpful with that as well). Would stay here again!

The whole property was so beautiful.Our room especially was super clean and comfortable! I felt at home in our room! Arnaud was an amazing host! He was super knowledgeable of the area and helped make our stay special! I can’t wait to stay here again!

Perfect stay in Beaune, really close to the centre but out of the busy streets, so a quiet retreat. Great location to see the lights, and absolutely unique and special place to stay. All the rooms are boutique hotel quality, and breakfast everything you could wish for

Absolutely dreamy property and guest accommodations in the heart of Beaune!

Everything. Beautiful property - looks exactly like the photos! Huge and well-appointed guest rooms with all of the amenities, delicious breakfast and 24hr access to tea/coffee. Welcoming and helpful staff, but still a very private feeling. Wonderful wines available for purchase. On a quiet street but still close to train station and everything else in Beaune. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend to others!

Le Clos Sainte-Marguerite was the best experience of our two and a half week vacation in Italy and France. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, the accommodations charming yet had everything we needed, and the breakfasts were fabulous. (Do you love fresh croissants with locally made jams and espresso? We do!) We cannot say enough about this wonderful place and the people who run it.

Hmmm, I can't think of a thing, other than the walk from the train with large bags was a bit bumpy...however, I don't think the hosts can do anything about the centuries-old cobbled streets! ;-)

The location was perfect and the room was absolutely beautiful. We loved sitting out in the courtyard in the evenings. We also very much appreciated Arnaud - he was incredibly kind, attentive and helpful throughout our entire stay!

A gorgeous, historical and intimate B & B with a fabulous staff

Le Clos de Sainte-Marguerite was an incredibly beautiful property. The historical aspect of the property made it a place to stay with double value.....the room was elegant, spacious and very comfortable, and we felt like we were staying in a French museum, without going to a museum! Many of the paintings, decorations, sconces, etc. go back hundreds of years. The rooms surround a beautiful courtyard; one morning we were served breakfast there. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The towels were the plushest towels we've ever experienced in a B & B or Inn. Arnaud and Estelle were lovely hosts...friendly, warm, helpful, and very accessible. They both made us feel so at home and pampered!

It was a very positive experience and we are looking forward to see the people and the place again.

Chez les Fatien is a very cosy and romantic place. During the night it is quiet and sleeping in the very good beds is refreshing. The people who are operating it are very friendly and supportive. They gave us many valuable hints what to do in Beaune and were very helpful, with finding good restaurants, which they even booked for us. Any location in the town can be easily reached by a 10 minutes walk from there.

Our stay was memorable and one that we will do again.

The location was excellent, just a few minutes walk from the centre. The accommodation was very private and the attention to detail from our host, Arnaud was exceptional and very thoughtful. We stayed for 4 days so Arnaud changed some items of our breakfast daily so we didn't have the same items every morning. The rooms were very well appointed. You had a real feeling of being in Burgundy. The bed and cushions also very comfortable and big for European standards. We will definitely be returning here.

Great for a stopover in Beaune, I would happily return.

V nice place and lovely ambience. Historic but all the modern comforts. Location great as quiet but just a short stroll from the the town centre. Breakfast was simple but nice. It was only available from 8:30 which was not so good for us as we were driving to the mountains for skiing. If we had been able to leave earlier we would have missed some of the traffic. Our host was v helpful re parking but a bit stretched as had to everything else too.

Overall it was very nice and I would return. My wife found the shower/bath controls in our specific room confusing as still had “C” and “F” on despite one being for the shower and one for the bath. That said the room was spacious and the bathroom was very good too.
