Bed was super comfy as was the bedding. We had the most “basic” option of the room selections and it far exceeded expectations. The bathroom had two sinks, a gorgeous tub and Amazing shower. The room was very large and very clean. The AC worked great but we also had nice weather in the evenings and opened the windows to sleep which was spectacular. The courtyard is cute, the shared covered balcony for the upper two rooms was nice. The manager and owner are very helpful and nice. The breakfast was very nice as well. This is the best bnb we’ve ever stayed at, I will recommend it to everyone I know coming to the area. The location is perfect as well. The pictures on the site don’t do it justice! The toiletries are very nice, there was even a bath poof and a very nice smelling candle.
There’s not a thing I didn’t like, it really blew me away how fantastic it was.

Spacious comfortable rooms with air conditioning. Lovely courtyard setting. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent selection for breakfast. Bottled water replenished in rooms everyday.
Coffee could be improved.

The hotel is Michelin rated, and that is for a good reason. ...but you also pay for it. Service is 5 star. Hotel is older style boutique, converted from a house or villa I would think. A bit like being in New Orleans with an unpretentious entrance that was the car entry to the courtyard. It’s a bit like the wizard of oz opening the door and seeing the beautiful courtyard etc. The rooms are not modern or luxurious like the Ritz, but its is luxurious in its own old style way. We love places like this, but its not for everyone. We had Room 1, which is huge suite. Goes the whole length of the courtyard . Because its an old style hotel, the floors are old tiles, some of the walls have the stone look, and in our bathroom , the toilet area was like in a cave. Wild. Bath was huge, with a large walk in shower, double sink area and big standing bathtub ..and the separate toilet area. Shower was great…but water gets all over (most drains but a lot remains and to make sure it dried over night I used a wash cloth to soak it up). Bed was super comfy. Wifi fast. Service was fantastic…even before we got there. Estelle, the owner, called us to check on us and when we would arrive so she could greet us. Arnaud, who handled breakfast and was sort of the concierge , help desk, manager all rolled into one…was terrific. Even got breakfast going early to meet schedule. , Breakfast was included in the rate and it was terriric, Meats, French cheeses, all kinds of bread, fruits, dates , nuts and on and on. And fresh squeeze OJ. They even made up our room while we were at breakfast. Parking on street was not a problem, but could be later in the day. Generally paid 8.80E for 3:30pm day one until 5:30 the next day. If i tried to add more time, …it will be 30E for a day. So be careful. On line photos were fairly accurate. We would definitely recommend staying here when you are in Burgundy and Beaune and would stay again without hesitation.
One complaint is the night stand, or lack thereof, on one side of the bed. They have a small table near by, and you can pull it up to the bed when you go to bed, but otherwise its blocking the closet with the safe and mini fridge. Windowsill also worked. Another small complaint is the rugs next to the bed get caught opening the closet next to the bed. So I always had to move them out of the way. They might think about a thinner carpet or something.
