Service good, staff helpful but let down by average restaurant and bedding.

Loved location, good facilities for dog (but charge €60 for 2 nights), on site parking good (but again €60 for 2 nights), bar area is lovely with open fire but can get full as small.

Beds hard and we both had back ache. Quilt and pillows poor quality. Restaurant had no atmosphere. Expected more sophistication but more like a cafe with 3 Of the 6 mains being hotdog, burger, or croque monsieur. Even so my choice not available. Zero atmosphere and lighting terrible. It’s basically in the breakfast area and no change for dinner. Little laminated menus. Note: the Michelin restaurant was closed which we knew and expected the alternate to be of lower lever but at least to have some substance and was not what we expected.

The staff and dinner

Only one comfortable chair in the bedroom (useless for 2 people who have just had a long drive). The mattress needed turning as the edge had compressed so that one spent the night rolling to the edge of bed! Dinner was superb. However it was very filling and a lighter option would have been good.

A beautiful boutique hotel perfectly located, with exceptional service.

It was the epitome of quiet luxury and warm, personal service. The library bar was exceptional, with the sommelier recommending wines, remembering our preferences and looking after us with a light dinner after we arrived late.

It’s okay for a one night stay

The location is very good, in the middle of Beaune. It’s a glamorous old school 5* hotel. Tranquil and elegant. We didn’t try the gourmand restaurant but we enjoyed the bistro with simple European dishes. The concierge went out of his way to accommodate our request. We stayed for one night, two kids (under 7) and two adults.

Staff at reception and at the bistro were cold and unpleasant. Be warned that it’s not a kid friendly hotel and they should have a policy not to allow kids under 12 to stay even thought they made special in-room provisions for the kids.

Very central location in Beaune but with lovely gardens and terrace for dining and drinks. Great breakfast and reasonably priced garage parking.

Rooms are clean but lack any character. Rooms at the back are quieter.

An acceptable hotel, but overpriced for the quality it offers.

The location was great for visiting Beaune, easy to access the hotel by car and then visit the town on foot. The bedroom, although small, was clean and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

The public areas were depressing, dated and smelled of cigarettes.

Very friendly staff with a real focus to make a stay comfortable and pleasant. Excellent choice at the breakfast. It is obvious that the hotel owner and manager pays a lot of attention to details and managing to keep a good balance between quality and price. I love the garden! And dog friendly!!!

It feels a little bit congested at the upper terrace. Please, also check geolocation, by some reason GPS in my car tried to bring me actually behind the hotel

Welcome safe haven on our travels - marvellous!

The location excellent, staff were fantastic, special shout out to Maxim and Natalie but everyone made us feel so welcome. And dog friendly our dogs had their own bowls and a welcome message !

They were not just pets allowed , they were pet friendly! Water for dogs when checking in and their own mats, bowls, welcome sign it was so relaxing for us to know they loved our boys

A delightful escape—friendly staff, cozy rooms, and fabulous food & wine.

Hostellerie Cèdre & Spa Beaune is a lovely hotel with excellent service and very polite staff. It’s located a short walk from Beaune, which offers an abundance of amazing wine and cheese. Unfortunately, the restaurant Clos du Cèdre was closed during our stay, but the dinner we had at the hotel was delightful, and they have an extensive wine and champagne list, which was wonderful. We also didn’t have a chance to visit the spa.

We have stayed at this Lovely hotel four times now and it doesn’t ever disappoint.

Breakfast was good, the onsite secure parking was great and we appreciated the team helping us to book our wine bar for supper.

They could offer more variety in the cooked breakfast as part of the price… such as omelettes for example. A small bottle of fresh milk in the room fridge is also a nice touch.

Very nice and cozy atmosphere, extremely nice staff. Hotel well located, only a few minutes walk to the old town

All was very good, only minor things: the light in the bath could be better (especially to ease making up for the ladies) and coffee for the very rich) breakfast could be a bit hotter

Great location, excellent evening restaurant, but standard of finish in much of the hotel was disappointing at the price

Location, reception area.

Room was very plainly and somewhat cheaply decorated considering the price. We ate at the Michelin starred restaurant. The food was excellent, but when we sat in the garden outside for our aperitif the cushions on the seats were very wet - resulting in us both having wet behinds as we went to dinner. We mentioned this to the maitre d’ but got no reaction….. Breakfast was substandard for the price

The staff at the hotel and restaurant is welcoming. The hotel is placed at walking distance to the city center. The nice hotel park with trees offers a great place to relax. The experience at the gastronomic restaurant was superb!
