Close to the station
Smell in the room

It was very close to the station which made it easy to get to.
For some reason the warm water doesn’t work after some time, if u travel with multiple people keep this in mind.
2.0 / 10.0
it is next to train station, so i believe it is a good location. However if you want to go to the city center you should take a bus or tram. About 30'.
Everything in the room looked dirty. Even the trash bin wasn't empty. Towels and sheets smelt weird.
Definitely cleaning is not their priority.
The bed is not so comfortable, I would say decent sleep.

Friendly staff, excellent evening meal - curry. Comfortable bed, cosy room, tv, WiFi, great location, excellent service.
Perhaps improved by smart tv

Nothing to complain about.

There wasn't really anything I could say that I liked, there was two small bottles of water next to the kettle which I suppose is nice considering the rest of the experience.
Reception - First appearances count - the floor was filthy with nobody around to assist guests (there were two other groups besides us) and a loud party being hosted giving an impression that staff had more important matters to attend to than receiving guests.
Poor communication from reception - very little information offered when we finally checked in, only when specific questions were asked.
The keycards presented to us were disgusting with food stuck on them.
The room itself:
1) upon entering, the room is an odd configuration, what immediately stands out are the dirty walls with marks on them, room photos on the listing are not at all accurate.
2) There is no Aircon - while aircon isn't listed in the faciliaties (I'm more vigilant on checking this on listed facilities, this was my mistake), there was one small fan provided in one of the rooms, the other room had no fan.
This means opening all the windows as rooms were very hot, we expected that we would need to sleep with them open - only after checking other reviews in detail, I noted other guests complained about the same thing and being bitten by mosquitos - not something I wanted to subject my family to for a single night stay.
3) Opening the windows gave us a beautiful view of the back sides of other buildings and some discarded socks and underwear lying in a puddle of water on the adjacent building' roof.
I selected this hotel based on the rating provided by booking.com, disagree that it's a "7.2 - Good"
Less than an hour later, given the above and at the associated cost (which I felt was high for what we received), we decided that we should continue on our journey home for another 3 hours instead of staying somewhere disappointing.
I went to reception to check-out and discuss my experience only to find it vacant once again (this was at about 19:15) and, after waiting some time, I gave up, dropped the cards off and left.

The rooms were very spacious and super clean. The man who worked there was very friendly and spoke English very well.
It was difficult to learn how to keep the lights on inside the rooms. The room key card had to stay in a slot, similar to how you keep electricity on in a cruise ship room.

Great location opposite train station. Fridge and kettle a welcome addition.

Lokacija.
They need some small reparation ... e.g. electr. details ...

Good location by the train station.
No air conditioning. There was a heat wave in Ghent at the time. The window was small. They provided a fan but it was inefficient to cool the room. Did not sleep much that night.
9.0 / 10.0
The location was perfect as it was close to trains, trams and buses. It was also within walking distance of the conference venue I attended- Gent ICC and also importantly, the city centre.
The meal at the restaurant was also very nice. Maybe room service can be considered?
Nothing. Absolutely enjoyed my stay!

The location was great-next to the main train station, which is very confortable for traveling. The room had all the necessary things for a short stay.
The shower hose was broken, so it was complicated to wash as the shower created a fountain on all the sides of the bathroom.
There was no air conditioner and sleeping with an open balcony was not possible because it was noisy outside+tram was very close. Better to buy some earplugs and sleep with open balcony, otherwise you sleep in the sauna.

There was a fan in the room
Shower - good
It was a hot day and the window would not open.

Location across the main train station
- Staff wasn’t too accommodating, I had cancelled second night and we weren’t supposed to get charged, but they didn’t want to approve it until I called Booking.com.
- Hotel was in much need of maintenance, bathroom light kept turning off, unpleasant smell in the room and TV not working. There was also an unplugged mini-fridge in the room that was taking up the already crammed space.
- Elevator stopped between the floors so still had to carry suitcase up the stairs.
- Hotel description said there’s a sauna but when asked, it turned out that there wasn’t.

Breakfast was great but some people wouldnt like that selection is not huge

really good location, close to the train station. There is a carrefour supermarket just nearby. You can reach the city centre in 20-30 minutes by foot. Rooms are clean, there is a tea/coffee in the room
Initially I booked the twin room, but they gave us double room. After my demand to change the room, they found twin room in another part of hotel. The breakfast is 15 euros per person

Friendly staff. Great to have a restaurant on site and the nepalese food was lovely.. Coffee, tea and a jug provided in the room. A shutter to reduce street noise was great. Fantastic location for the train.
The reception staff kindly informed me that the larger room I'd booked was above the restaurant area but a bachelors party was staying so might be noisy. We were then offered a smaller double room in the adjacent building.
Needed to still manage bags up stairs as lift only to certain levels. No air-conditioning, so room a little stuffy. The owners have provided a screen so can open the windows.

Friendly staff and location ideal
Room was, at the best, "comfortable"
4.0 / 10.0
The only saving grace for this location was the price.
The main problem was that the room was quite cold. Even with the heating system working, we were concerned about getting sick. The view from the window was very bad, because we were looking at the rooftop.

The hotel is near the train station also you can arrive the city Center with tramway in 10 minutes.
Very small room and bathroom. At night there was some noise that is coming from the street and the train station.

Location is good, just across the railway station.
Reception staff were not so friendly and the whole place looks untidy and poorly organised. The hallways are dusty, cables hanging on the ceiling and not renovated in a while. The room looked ok even though for an unknown reason the fridge was left next to the side of the bed, but the windows were very dirty and not closing properly. We didn’t stay overnight because the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as it’s so far away from what a three star hotel should look like.

The room was very dark
