Good but could be improved

Overall the structure is quite good and has everything for a short stay (including a small kitchen and iron). The size of the room is good for one person, but might be small for two people with larger luggage than I had. The position is great, the tram stop is at the end of the road and it’s at walkable distance from the center and everything else. I had an internal room and the other rooms were quiet, so I did not have issues with noise. The staff is quite quick in replying through the booking messages, and indications for the check-in are clear and easy.

The room was overall clean, but maintenance should be improved: I found some mold behind the curtains and some drains were a bit clogged, hopefully it got fixed after I noticed the people in charge of the structure. I don’t mind the dark bathroom, but the dark paint retains water marks making it look not very clean. A couple more pillows (or bigger / more sturdy ones) could be useful, as would be some more kitchenware: there are literally two forks and two glasses. I get that the structure is supposed to be run remotely, but some reception or locker to store luggage before and after arrival would be great. The stairs steps are narrow in some points, might be hard for people with mobility issues (there is a lift though). The price is a bit high.

The noise from the neighbors and the noise from the street, with delivery trucks for supermarket. Really awful isolation! The lift was not working and hallway on the first two floors smelled garbage.

Location is amazing

* Great location * Parking is very close * Modern, spacious apartment and building * Well-equipped kitchen with everything you need

* weird smell in the apartment * Elevator and street noise is super strong, also there was a very loud party at our floor and we could hear everything. But again street noise was more annoying * Some spare furniture parts left on shelves, suggesting cleaning could be improved

It was a very pleasant stay, I would go back again.

It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Modern, very central and well connected.

Although we had a very comfortable stay, the lift was not working for the entire period. The duvet was too hot. The bathroom did not have a stool for the toiletries, I used the stool in the kitchen. The kitchen planning was weird, with a useless corridor just for the rubbish bin.

Comfortable Bed, kitchen was well resourced. Excellent communications on what not to do.

Double room is more like sleeping in a kitchen. There is a 3 metre peninsula down the middle of the room. Too much cooking kit. Combi oven massive thing in a cupboard at floor level taking uo space but no safe in room. Had 4 dishwasher tablets ..like thats a lot of washing... 1 coffee pod for coffee machine Its a good place in lots of ways, very central, if youre cooking then maybe its good ..... No wardrobe ... so if you were cooking ... with the litre of olive oil provided your clothes would be smelling as they hang on an open set up. Dusty in places Its not manned, so lots of text comms Hence nowhere for left luggage so thats pay extra Expensive enough for that.

We paid for what we got.

The hotel offers a fair price. It helped us to keep our budget. We liked the close connection with public transportation. We liked its location at a quite and safe neighborhood. Having a fridge saved us because we could have some food inside. The espresso machine was a privilege!

1. The room was never cleaned. 2. The trashcans were never emptied. 3. The hotel gave us a pair of towels for a 7 days stay. 4. The hotel emailed us all the instructions one day before arriving. The fact that there’s nobody in a front desk and everything is completely electronic should have been said since the moment we booked the room. The interior colors of the walls are extremely dark, brown dark in the bathroom! That was deeply disappointing. The TV never works, no local channels no access to Netflix, nothing at all. The room has more room for the kitchenette, no drawers for the clothes; so, there should be at least two folding luggage racks to compensate the lack of insufficient space. The room was provided with only two pillows, this is the first time we encountered this situation. We couldn’t request another pair because we never saw anybody anywhere who works in the hotel. I wrote a note asking for a couple of towels, sticked it on a window at the linen closet, lucky us the towels were delivered at our room later that day. The bed had only a fitted sheet, no bed sheet was provided. This is also another situation never seen before. We are not complaining. We are just pointing out situations that must have been disclosed at the moment we were booking the room. These small details mark the room’s price.

Perfect accommodation

A very comfortable room with everything you need for a City break. Lovely to have the option to cook with the added bonus of having a kitchenette. I would definitely recommend and will return.

Cute independently owned accommodation cery close to the town centre of Brussels

The host was super helpful on whatsapp to help with check in. There were so many free snacks and hot drinks for the guests to enjoy, a massive positive! It also felt very secure. The shared bathroom was kept clean and tidy; it was only shared with one other room which was ok. We also had a brilliant fan which kept the room cool.

Our room had a very low ceiling, in fact, the room was a triangular prism. We didnt have much room for our bags at all, but we survived.

It was good for the price point, but could benefit from some tweaks.

The location was great Access to the property was simple and it was clean throughout. Mattress was comfortable, Kitchenette was very useful and had everything we needed.

There was only one pillow per person and I was told by staff that a second was not possible as they didnt have enough to provide more. I ended up putting towels under my pillow to be somewhat comfortable. Although this place lists noise proofing as a feature, we were disrupted by noise from other rooms, and noise from deliveries /bin collections being made on the road outside every single morning we were there. The windows were shut yet between 5 and 6am we were disturbed by men shouting and the crashing and banging of metal cages as products were rolled off trucks. We assumed the first night it would be a one off, but it happened again and again. Given the hotel had refused an extra pillow, we didn't think a room change to the other side of the hotel was likely. We also didn't want the hassle of moving our stuff for what would have the been one or two more nights. There is one mirror in the room (the one in the bathroom), a full length mirror would be a large improvement. There are no draws, only a few hangers and some shelves. Not a big problem but its nicer to have somewhere to put your pants and socks. We found the layout of the room wasn't ideal. The dining table is positioned under the clothes rack, so once you hang your items up you cant sit at it (if you are tall, regardless of if there are clothes you will hit your head on the shelf). Moving the table out then becomes inconvenient to manoeuvre around so you end up pulling the table out and putting it back each time. I am not sure how they could relayout the room but the table doesnt seems to work well where it is. This was only a problem we had in the mornings when having breakfast as the rest of the meals were out in Ghent. The stairwell had quite an unpleasant smell, i assume due to the carpet being recently laid.

Enjoyable stay at Raibu Gent

I liked the location of the flat, near shops, restaurants and main sights. Public transport is also convenient. The flat was clean and equipped with all the necessary items for a short or long stay. The bed was comfortable. The check-in process was easy.

It was quite a chilly week and unfortunately I did not manage to get any heat in the room. The TV did not seem to offer any channels. Perhaps this was due to my doing something wrong so they were only minor inconveniences.

Location is good close to city center. Room is well equipped.

Pillows were small & very soft. I asked for a couple of more pillows, but customer service said they can’t provide any more. You can only communicate with customer service through texting on booking app. No front desk or anyone to communicate with in person.

La ubicación era excelente, hay una parada de tranvía a pasos y puedes moverte caminando por todo el centro histórico. El lugar se notaba nuevo, las camas cómodas y todo el sistema super moderno. Me encantó.

Très bon séjour dans un magnifique hôtel à bon prix !

Ça a été un plaisir d’y séjourner ! Le logement est situé en plein centre, à proximité des différentes attractions et d’un petit supermarché. L’hôtel et la chambre sont très beaux et neufs ; on voit que c’est bien entretenu et que cela a été rénové. La chambre était très propre, à part le micro-ondes qui avait été oublié lors du nettoyage. Le reste était nickel et sentait bon. Il y a beaucoup d’équipements à disposition, ce qui est un vrai plus et rend le séjour agréable. De plus, la literie était très confortable et nous avons bien dormis. Le personnel était également sympathique et répond rapidement. Je recommande cet hôtel qui, par rapport à d’autres établissements dans la région, offre un très bon rapport qualité-prix !

Petit point à améliorer : le micro-ondes n’avait pas été nettoyé. Un petit séchoir pour faire sécher les essuies et serviettes mouillés, ainsi que des essuie-tout et des mouchoirs, auraient également été appréciés.

La cama era más pequeña de lo que se indicaba en la descripción, además pregunté específicamente porque esto era importante para nosotros y me confirmaron, cuando después vi que era más pequeña me sentí estafada. Más aún cuando me habían cobrado un precio superior al que ofrecían días después y no quisieron cancelarme la reserva para poder aprovechar la oferta, a pesar de que aún faltaba un mes para nuestra llegada. La habitación era bastante pequeña y con un espacio únicamente para poner abrigo y poco más, pero no el equipaje y no había apenas sitio para poder dejar las maletas en el suelo.

De ligging is bijzonder goed. Zeker als je in het weekend gaat. In het centrum in de buurt van een deel van de universiteit. Rustig in het weekend. Fijn dat er een kitchentte was. De matras op het bed was een goeie matras. Instructies om binnen te geraken waren duidelijk.

De mat onder de zetel was stug en niet aangenaam op blote voeten. Tip: voorzie handdoeken voor de afwas. Er was koffie aanwezig maar geen thee. Dat was jammer. Voor die prijs is dat een kleine moeite. De kamer was donker met donker geschilderde muren. Heel gezellig vond ik dat niet. Wat papieren info voor toeristen en een kleine welkomstboodschap is wel aangenaam. Het is een heel onpersoonlijke plek daardoor. Dat vond ik jammer. Je wil welkom geheten worden ook al is er geen receptie. Voor die prijs mag er wel dat meer moeite gedaan worden, vind ik.

kamer was voldoende ruim en modern.

Zeer luidruchtige kamer. De kamer naast ons had de hele nacht de televisie aan en de muren waren precies van karton. Je kan alle gesprekken in de andere kamers meevolgen. Ook de voetstappen van de bovenste kamers waren heel luid en hoorbaar. Zeker niet de akoestische eisen die een hotel zou moeten hebben. De douche is zeer klein en zeer donker, niet comfortabel. De bedden zijn twee matrassen naast elkaar, wat zeer vervelend is. Bij een tweepersoonsbed verwacht ik een grote matras.

A pesar de pedir explícitamente una habitación para una persona con movilidad reducida, nos dicen que el hotel cuenta con ascensor y no hay problema. Cuando llegamos nos encontramos con que está fuera de servicio y no nos avisaron antes de nuestra llegada, no pudimos cambiar de hotel ni nada, al final el último día tuvimos un percance y la persona con movilidad reducida después de subir tantas escaleras (nos pusieron en una 3a planta) se cayó por las escaleras al fallarle las piernas

Kapotte lift. Werd pas gemeld na boeking. Wij hadden een kamer op derde verdieping. Aangezien ik pas een knieprothese heb, had ik gevraagd om een kamer op de eerste verdieping. Werd ingewilligd Bij aankomst kregen we een kamer op de tweede verdieping. Bed was voorzien van een sierkussen met beddensloop. Onderlaken was veel te klein. Ik sliep op de molton onderlegger. Ik heb verzocht om een normaal kussen, die waren er niet. Ook werden handdoeken niet ververst.
